MAmoon what is this man? I know you dont like YK, but dont degrade him so much. Chandimal has a lot to achieve to get compared to YK in tests. Even at present YK edges ahead.
In ODis you may have a point but Chandi doesnt have great LOI stats either

chandimal is a very fine cricketer, if you consider that he also keeps wickets, he is a solid test cricketer.

Younis has better performances over his career, but Chandimal is a more versatile and well-rounded batsman.
Won't be surprised if he surpasses Younis, because he has more ability.

He may have a lot of talent, but he doesnt have the concentration and temperament of Younus khan, which is also very important trait for a test batsman. His average is inflated by three hundreds against Bangladesh. Other than that he has struggled so far specially against us he is yet to play any meaningful innings.
I will be surprised if he surpasses YK in tests. He is already almost 27 and with amount of cricket SL play getting to 30 hundreds and 10k would be very very difficult. He will be end up having very decent test career but surpassing YK will take some serious doing.
On a personal note I rate him ahead of Angelo, Chandimal will surely end up with a better career than him.

In another thread, I predicted that SRL 'll make ENG bat again, when they were 180/3 or so. It's nice to see them fight back - may not be this Test, but I am sure they can avoid defeat at Lord's after 2 more weeks in UK, particularly, if they bowl first.
On a side note, Jimmy is definitely going for a shot at 600; only 150 to go & he has about 35~38 Tests left before turning 37.

Younis khan is a pakistani and thats a cardinal sin for some
YK isn't finished yet - may be he'll finish with ~11K runs & 35+ Test hundreds. The way PAK, SRL going, I'll be surprised if anyone out side IND from Asia crosses YK in Test ever. Ideally, MoYo should have finished Test career with ~12K runs & 35~38 Test hundreds; but you need fundamental intelligence, education & attitude to achieve any mile stone - I am sorry for my French here.

This test has shown some weakness of England team hopefully we can peform better than Lankans and maybe even win a game. I'm not confident if the conditions are like the 1st test. If there like this test we have a chance, if we don't win we need to make sure we compete in every game

Congrats Eng yet another hidin as expected. The fightback was too little too late. Should have come in the first innings not when the Test and the series was already down the gurgler. Having said that let's see if this can be carried over to the Lord's Test at least.
