all over. Well done to India. Both teams played rubbish in all fairness but they deserved it more.

thanks rob...well done for fighting it out till the end, best of luck in the further tournament

England pretty much knocked out now. They will get cained by the Aussies.

That was an interesting interview with Munaf...

"first I was bowling fast, then Greg Chappel said line & length, then I bowled line & length." - about how he changed through the last year :D

Congrats India.

That oScript thing is driving me bonkers.

A bit of a shambles with the bat all round really.

Still, well done to India. It's nice to see Pathan's bowling getting back on track and Munaf's clearly a great prospect.

When Jamie Dalrymple's the pick of the bowlers, you can safely say the pitch was evil. I think 200 is going to prove to be a good score in this tournament.

A good fight from our bowlers, but the batting was an absolute joke if I'm honest. It makes you wonder what might have been if we had stuck in there a bit more with less guys throwing their wickets away, and made 180-200.

The majority yes but Harmison's first few overs were a joke and overall wasn't that great. Poor ODI bowler.

You never know what to expect from him...first 2 overs were ridiculous but after that he bowled pretty straight and not only contained SRT but got him out too. The rest were impressive - Mahmood and Yardy as economical as they could be with Mahmood unlucky not to get a wicket or 2, and Dalrymple/Anderson were both quality. This has the makings of a reasonable attack, they just need something to bowl at next time.

Oh well, you win some and lose some. Time to beat Australia and West Indies :P

I was very surprised at Mahmood not going at his trademark 7 RPO! Very economical.

I actually thought England was going to win it when India was at 110/6, it was tense for me, you guys might have won if you got to 150 or 160.

England put on a good fight, never gave up, one postive to take out the game.

Both sides threw away their wickets.

But credit to the Indian bowlers, put on a good show and dreid England out for runs for the most parts of the innings, took early wickets, kept the run rate low and put them right under pressure, Munaf deservedly got man of the match, but he was clueless on what to say at the presentation.

I must say Mahmood looked good today

he has looked good in quite a few recent performances at first class and international level. People should give the poor lad a chance, he might deserve the New Sami label at some point in future, but not yet.
