To be honest, I want Azhar sacked as captain as soon as possible, he's not the right answer.
 
That has to be Root's easiest 50 he's ever made. No pressure. Fielders spread. Easy singles.
 
This series will show Mickey and Rixon where exactly are Pakistan are , and what steps need to be taken.
 
Azhar is not suited for captaincy, he once begged the PCB to remove him because Aamir came into the team. I feel that he doesn't really have the passion to lead a side
 
Asghar or zafar would have rip them here,i remember when england play zafar in uae they were at sea
 
If Azhar is removed as captain, then I'm having a hard time thinking who should replace him. Maybe Sarfraz since he won an under 19 WC?
 
Imad can't even spin the odd one like nawaz,these two are making it look flat even though there is lot of spin here.
 
Cricket rules are obsolete & always against Pakistan - it's not allowing Azhar to put 9 men on line. I am not sure about the latest development - do they count how many overs you have kept a side in field during ranking of teams?
 
Even the commies are baffled by the field settings. Too defensive for goodness sake.
 
If ENG lose 2-3 quick wickets then can't we come back in this game - no? Spinners are bowling better at the moment.

I kind of want to try Wahab and see how he does. In tournaments he always turns up so maybe he likes the responsibility or the pressure.
 
I think Azhar thought 260 was more than good enough score on this pitch. Forget the pitch it hasn't been a good score for a good few years now.

6.) Malik
7.) Nawaz
8.) Imad
9.) Hasan
10.) Aamir

Every player who is not playing would have done that right? Shehzad and Umar Akmal would have smashed easy 100s here...
 
Gul gave false hopes against IRL game the other day and it has caused us this game. It was too difficult for Azhar and Co to understand - right.
 
Azhar doesn't know what's best for each player, he's not aware of their strengths and weaknesses.

i would play rizwan instead of sarfraz,can improve better he is younger,he can play pace well ,has some problem picking the legspin and the straighter from sla but has time to work on it and more importantly we lack players who play pace well,has to improve keeping too but sarfraz isn't much better.

Gul is past his days , there is no point in playing such players again and again to test them.

Root gone. Time to tighten the screws and get a couple more.

Azhar Ali needs to attack now. If England bats for another 15 overs, they will win it easily.

Gul is just like Mohammad Sami, he keeps giving false hopes and fooling both the selectors and management.

Sarfaraz is not the best WK Pakistan had , he is no Latif , Ideally Umar Akmal should have been in the OD as Keeper.

Sarfraz isn't terrible. He's been shoed in many positions in ODI's and never got a fixed position. He was fantastic as an opener and suddenly they gave up on him.

Umar cry too much he should learn to work hard to get his place even if i think he is better than many "batsmen" in the team right now.
 
We would've had a better chance bowling first, a couple of sniffs and we would've picked up some wickets. It's all about instinct and Azhar doesn't have that.

Sarfraz,malik can't play pacers well,this is why they struggle to accelerate in the final overs,if you want to play them you have to play them in the middle orders so they can tick over the scoreboard rotating the strike with the odd boundarie(around 20 to 35/40 overs) but you can't play 3-4 players at number 4-5
 
Crap, one bad news after another. Amir is holding his side and going off the field.

If you cannot play pace , you should not be playing International cricket. sack them and bring in who can, instead of hiding them.
 
Need a true spinner here who can strangle the runs and pick the odd wicket like ajmal use to do.
