Watto needs to cash in now, I don't see him lasting long against Englands 'reverse' swing or the new ball.

50 for Watson,who'd have thunk
Aussies going strong....
Obviously Lehmann told him he'd be dropped if he didn't perform this test.
This is Englands best ever team vs Aus worst ever team
It is not Australia's worst ever team. The bowling attack is world class and specially equipped to deliver in England. With a better batting side this Aussie team may have taken the series.

Twatson should stay at 6. He is too likely to miss a straight ball to be a credible opener
This isn't our best ever team either. It's a decent one, that's it.
Vaughan's team 2003-2005 was much better than this one.
Cricinfo reporting :
Aleem Dar is checking the shape of the ball again
Is this because of the boundary or something else ?
Just want to make sure that ball is not being tampered or out of shape.
misbah may or may not have that recordIf he gets a ton, then must be a record for oldest test player to get his maiden ton
The fast bowling was better and they had a proper allrounder in Fred. The openers were more aggressive. They didn't have a credible spinner, though.
Worst batting. ?

Probably yes. I don't think this is the worst team. The Aussie team that lost to an English team of approx equal strength (to the present English team) at home (3-1) was probably worse. Aussies don't loose easily at home and it must have been a weak side that lost 3-1, and included three massive innings defeats, and was the first time the Aussie lost the Ashes at home since 1985. This current Aussie team has done better in foreign conditions because the bowling unit is stronger.
