Need to attack the stumps or an off stump line here. Amir/abbas need to do some damage with the new ball on this surface.
 
Stoneman gone, that will do, Get Root in early to crease and hopefully get him out as well.
 
Cook seems to be playing his shots early, he was like this in series in 2016.

Amir needs to focus one side of wicket, hes doing a rahat here!
 
Cowardly decision by root imo. You wanna avoid spinners so you don't give Jimmy and broad the best conditions to bowl? Also not convinced with wood over woakes. Oh well. Atleast they dropped their sixth bowler to strengthen the batting. It's a start.
 
if Amir cannot even exploit damp early May english conditions then where does he stand currently?
 
Amir has lost it! Any left hand bowler would have bowl better in these conditions.
 
Alistair cheekbones have their own cheekbones. Would have been an ideal target for Spitting Image
 
I know this comment has the potential to embarrass, but struggling to remember the last time Amir has really impressed and delivered in a test match....
 
Amir trying too hard , just be patient & hit the areas.

Amir being Amir:

Too short.

Too leg sidish.

Too much width.

It's like if he is intentionally bowling like this.
 
Best duo is Southee & Boult. Hands down. We should stop dreaming Amir can bowl like Stark/Boult.

and they were showing Amir Boult videos. Boult's grandma can outbowl current Amir.

Time to fast track Shaheen for the South Africa tour.
 
Abbas looking way better than Amir here..just looks threatening..

pitch isnt a seamer though..slow and low..grass is misleading by the looks of things..

if Anderson was bowling then we would have known the pitch rubbish Amir can turn any pitch a road.

Better bowling as runs have dried up, but need to force an error from england batsmen. no easy hit me balls.
 
Hopefully Hasan will bowl with same control Abbas has shown.
 
Good from Sarfi kicking Amir out after 4 overs, can't waste the new ball by bowling that wide
 
I actually like the look of this Pakistani team. We just need amir to step up his game
 
need to get them to play more ..too many leave balls..need to get another wicket otherwise its englands session
