Would be interesting to see if there is still the same level of interest in India-Pakistan matches.

Never been less excited for the clash than I am this time around. A team stuck in the 20th century vs India is laughable
 
It was 12/10 yesterday, but after team announcement today it has fallen to 7/10

wahab and azhar ali in playing 11 have decreased all the excitement i have
 
only Excited to see how babar azam and hasan ali does against india also fahim batting and shadab bowling

Teams are too mismatched for any real excitement. There needs to be less predictability about the result to generate real excitement.

True that is the only negative if you want to look at it that way because there is no doubt that Pakistan will win, but I will enjoy our players making the Indians dance along the way; it's the journey which is most important not the predictable end result my brother; hopefully you enjoy the game!
 
Not really that excited. We all know we are the underdogs on a flat track like that.

BUT things could get interesting if we:

1. Win the toss, bowl first
2. Get a shorter game.

We all know that we are better in the T20 format. So even a 30 over game could really improve Pak's chances.

In the end anything can happen in cricket, but I do not have high hopes, no.
 
Yeah, 5/6 as well.

There won't be a full match - that's the reason. It's going to be washed out.
 
Azhar and wahab in the same team is the recipe of disaster , one will give runs at 9 runs an over and one will score at 60/70 sr which means we will always be 50/60 runs behind the competition.
 
10/10 looking forward to see FTB rohit vs amir and wahab bhai unleashing his inner beast on Indian batsman bowling some 150ks and breaking some ribs.Be ready Indian team! Wahab Bhai is not going to spare anyone.

You guys seem to have given up on your team way too early. Don't you see anyone who plays well on the given day will triumph.

Anyways hoping for an exciting and closely fought game with India coming out victorious.
 
finally when it comes tomorrow, I'm hardly excited...sorry to ruin the limits, 0/10

I think its going to be a rain effected game.

TBH seeing that no one is giving Pakistan a chance and Pakistani team is also probably the weakest they have ever been if they manage to win tomorrow you will remember this match for rest of your life..
 
I think the Pak think tank is trying to instill a false sense of security for india for tomorrow by announcing this crappy team for tomorrow's vital game. Azhar should make way for Fakhar and Wahab for Junaid
If that happens, I'm at 10/10

These are professionals and nothing of that sort is gonna happen. So chill out and hope that the rain doesn't spoil our fun.

Mate, they've been optimistic many times before with stronger teams and seen their team lose. Put yourself in their shoes. It's hard to be optimistic when there's a clear gulf in quality between the two teams.
 
India has a better team these days. i am excited but not keeping my expectations very high from Pakistan. I want a hard fought game and the key players to perform.

I thought Junaid would definitly play and Wahab definitly benched. I don't know what the justification is behind selection of Wahab ahead of Junaid.
 
I m too lazy to be up during night time to watch a game. Hopefully will be able to shake it off and watch full game. My excitement level will be at 6.

I kind of do get what you are trying to convey. But you are talking about those posters who until today had clogged up the forum with meaningless threads praising their team and dissing ours. In that vein what I am proclaiming stands perfectly valid.
 
After this 12 announcement my excitement meter has been broken to shreds, but phr b dil pe pathar rakh kr and with expectation of miracle will still watch the match because Dil tu bcha hai g and after all its India vs Pakistan.

I'm only down because of the rain.

If it doesn't rain, Pak will win and obv im excited for that.
 
5/10, Only excited for Mohammad Amir and Hasan Ali bowling and Shadab with his leg spin.

Batting wise, I would rather sleep during our innings, However I'm rooting for Shoaib Malik.

All you guys mentioning 3/10 4/10 etc would be baying for blood when the match starts :))
 
8/10. Would have been more excited if the forecast wasn't so bad and we were not opening with Azhar and Shehzad. :facepalm:
 
7/10 ... will gradually get to 10/10 in the next 18 hrs .... but nothing like 2011 Mohali ... I was miserable for 3-4 days before the match.
 
I'm kind of scared that if we bat first, then we will be all out at 0. And, if we bowl first, they will score 1,800 and lose no wickets.

I hope India don't win by 1,800 runs or by 10 wickets.

So I'm nervous.
 
We are winning tomorrow In shaa Allah, Hassan Ali will win this match for us. Missing Junaid is a negative but Hassan will do the job.

We are no way losing this match. All the pundits, ex-cricketers and first time in our history even Pakistani supporters are not expecting much from Pakistan. I know my team Pakistan, they PERFORM when all odds are against them.

Excitement level is 10/10.
 
5/10, Pakistan's ODI team is terrible really. Want to see how Kohli is doing he was out of form recently
 
2/10. It's a mismatch of all proportions. Pakistan team selection is worse than Bangladesh. We are rightfully placed at no.8 in rankings.
Just looking forward to individual performances of Babar, Imad, Shadab/Faheem, Hasan, Amir.
 
Even given Pakistan's awful record record against India in WC encounters, I used to look forward to them with optimism that Pak had just as much chance of winning the next one.

That was then, going into this one with very low expectations. Of course Pak could spring a surprise but it would be just that.

It's either going to be a washout, or we're getting a predictable hammering. The feeling of it all being a bit meh with our limited overs teams since the 2011 World Cup has only heightened over the past year.
 
It was already quite low cos I know we're going to be battered, only thing I was looking forward to was the match day hype which I always love, then the excitement of toss, pre match talk, national anthems etc. And from there on it all goes downhill when we get battered. But after what's just happened in London, excitement has gotten even lower

0.5 sounds pretty accurate to me.

I haven't been this disinterested about an India vs Pakistan game in my life. I have become accustomed to watching Pakistan lose against them that it had killed the patriotism for me.
 
Since we announced the Team for tomorrow, and most of us don't like it, I am sure the Indians are well aware that we are trying to pull a fast one on them by switching some players just before the match !!!! These are usual tricks, they all do it. So I don't think they will get suckkered into believing the make up of our Team !!!!!!
 
I dont care if we win or lose. Just hope its 50 overs so if we do win, indians dont point to rain as the reason we won.

This x1000. Basically no chance of Fakhar and Sarfraz/Hafeez being our opener combination which was our best chance of having a somewhat decent chance.

It's a stupid format which castrates the bowlers, and it's a good team against a rubbish one.

I'm going to watch a repeat of "New Tricks" followed by "SS-GB", which finishes at around the 30 over mark of the First Innings.

If the score by then is less than 140 with at least 4 wickets down, I'll turn over to the cricket.

But if it's already turned into another boring FTB Bat-fest, then I'm going to go to bed.

I was the most excited and tense about the 2011 WC semifinal match. Compared to that, my excitement level have been going down and down with each subsequent meeting. The excitement is mostly a media creation and nowadays I cannot be swayed by an artificial media creation like this.
 
8 out of 10 right now.

Hopefully it will stay that way if our team plays well and the weather stays good!

8 out of 10. After a long time, gonna watch a complete ODI game. But it's not a decider like semis so 8/10 is a fair number.
 
very much 10 on the scale big game the whole country is watching people in big groups in sialkots with iftar partys everywhere with the game watching all prayers with the boys in ramzan mubarik month pakistan will win duas are very strong from everyone
