Game of Thrones [SPOILER ALERT]

Disappointing season. Arya's arch was pointless...

Last two episodes will be so much better. Couple of deaths coming, one in north, two in kings landing.

There's a battle to be fought. Expecting a massacre to both sides. Hopefully Wun Wun won't die..

I was so sure something would happen.... and it just didn't.

The spent so long on characters and scenes we don't really care about.

I don't know about you guys but the Arya scene was exciting. The way the Waif was tailing her like a cold blooded assassin, my heart was in my mouth the entire time. Knowing the history of GoT I was fairly certain that this might be the end for Arya..

I was sure they wouldn't build up 2 seasons in Bravos for such a farcical ending to Arya. It is not even as if Arya made mistakes like Robb Stark did, she always remained genuine and true to the cause.

I think the giant will sacrifice himself. The promo looks epic, will be one of the best screen battles of all time. Hoping it spans atleast half the episode or more.

I dont understand the point of introducing the Blackfish story arch in there if it was going to be so shortlived and of little consequence.

Lol at the people who are actually invested in Arya's current story.

it was mismanaged but regardless, she is a key character and I want to see whats in her future. She is sailing back West, I am sure but I am curious where she will land. Kings Landing? Winterfell? Some place else?

The best thing about the global availability of these western made tv shows is that now people with third world ethnicity can also watch and enjoy them and feel proud for having same tastes as those they look up to.

You have a super inferiority complex, lol.

Nah man, was fairly certain nothing's going to happen to Arya. She's a KEY character.

And they just wasted 2 seasons in Braavos, without her becoming something or gaining supernatural skills. Or whatever.

Built such a hype when she went there.

The look on the faceless god's face (lol) in the end when Arya left for Winterfell tells something else though, as if that was how he intended it to be.

Blackfish's reintroduction proved pointless. But it helped producers to add couple of episodes to the season to make it 10.

Next couple of episodes should be very interesting and thrilling.

I miss Night's Watch, those scenes were sinister and had suspense, thrill and horror. Similarly, Tyrion Lannister my other main attraction is not the same in this season. Little finger is also not very active in this season.
Khaleesi's scenes are mostly boring with the exception of war/fighting and Kings landing has lost spice without Tyrion.

Night's Watch, Jon Snow and the stories based on the NORTH are it for me as well. Rest seems like filler backstories.

Yeah same. I think when he said she is finally no one, she may have unlocked the power of changing faces... maybe.

Also she is a better fighter now, killed the waif bleeding and bruised, so not like Bravos was a waste of time.

I personally enjoyed her part of the episode.

who. hurt. you?

Btw, where the heck is Dorne at? First episode showed the coup, and then they disappeared from the entire plot-line. Rather have had the show focus on them than the pointless Blackfish arc, I was literally waiting for some sentry at Kings Landing spot an entire armada of Dorne ships approaching :))

I've heard the Starks will lose the battle of *******z and Arya will be killed by waif in the finale..:13:

Bringing the Blackfish in was pointless. He had a bit of potential, then they kill him. Bad writing.

Unless he isn't dead.....

I think just so that the fan theories don't come true the writers are writing plain rubbish now, terrible last episode except for Jamie's characters development ,him coming back to his true evil potential.

Why does Jon Snow look so scared in the preview of next season, seeing Ramsey so confident and leader like i actually wish he wins it :69:

Yeah Jon Snow is a pretty crap hero. This is where Robb Stark was good, and why it hurt to see him die, because he was someone you can pin your hopes on.

Jon is more of a lowkey badass, in that his actions are what make him cool then his attitude or persona.

True that. Or it could be the case that the writers want us to think Jon Snow is vulnerable and might lose. Then boom, he wins it.

On second thought, you'd think that Ramsey might actually be better prepared with his sly tactics against the white walkers than Jon Snow. Ramsey is capable, very very capable. Badass in his own way..

Robb was pretty stupid himself such as executing the Kastark leader, sending Theon back to Pyke, not informing Edmure Tully of his battle plans and of course breaking his marriage vows.

All those actions led to his ultimate downfall as he lead with his heart rather than with his brain.

I sadly have started backing him,Starks are annoying at the best I like Arya and Bran or hopefully Lady Stoneheart in the future if she ever comes.

Possible, I hope so.

Lol, Robb was a tool. No acting skills let alone 'pin hopes on'.

Jon is wayyy better.

Nah people had expectations from Robb, against all odds he was defeating Lannisters in battle and took Jamie captive, you obviously need to be very good tactically to pull that off.

He got distracted later, but everyone was still rooting for him, otherwise no one would really care about the Red Wedding.

Jon has like, zero personality. No aura whatsoever. He's like Misbah in that regard :misbah

j/k Misbah at least draws respect but Jon looks kind of meek at times.

The massive storm Snow's death created, and how everyone wanted him back - lol that can't be matched with Robb's death. Nobody cared about him.

It was the other characters, all the Starks as a whole that people cared about.

Just Jon Snow's death was the most tragic incident, even the makers of GoT couldn't keep him dead. :baelish

Rest, you can stay a dead man Robb's fan, that's your right. But seeing Jon takes all the glory must hurt? :najam

Not really, these characters don't really exist so it can't really "hurt" :afridi I don't dislike Jon, just that he had a weak persona.

Only reason people still wanted Jon alive is because they still want redemption for Starks in their hearts. If there was a more bold and bad Stark, they'd give him the support, so it's lack of options really.

Red wedding is still considered the most tragic event because of Robb. People wanted the Starks and by extension, the North to win. He was the face of the North.

What is a ba$tard to the King of the North :baelish

I'd like to pop in and say that Roose Bolton was totally right to get rid of Robb Stark who was only bringing economic and political ruin to the North by dragging it down south in an unwinnable war.

2nd worst season so far. Terrible writing and too much filler. Maybe ive been pampered by great shows like Breaking Bad, The Wire and The Sopranos so I feel that way. The first 4 seasons of GOT were amazing. Still gonna keep watching though

Breaking Bad had absolutely loads of filler. An entire episode devoted to a fly IIRC. It was a damn fine show but man people go on about it as if its the greatest thing ever, personally I think Better Call Saul (about to finish season 2 of that) is far better.

I'm gonna predict that the same people we've seen complaining about GOT endlessly will be here singing its praises this day next week. Just watch.

Nobody is forcing you to watch an episode or series if you find it boring, you can easily turn off the telly or flip the channel.

Lol I said from start to finish that Breaking Bad is the best show ever. Just ask people who have season all seasons of both shows. It is far far superior to GOT in terms of acting, writing and literally everything. Most people to rate it as the best show ever. I used to love GOT till season 4 but 5 was disappointing and this season has been nothing amazing.

Ditto brother. Breaking Bad is like SRT kind of. A great for sure, but people seriously hype it beyond belief as if it is expected to steamroll every other show that exists 10/10 times.

I think GoT may have raised the bar very high in its second season, so now people auto expect it to meet that high standard in consecutive seasons. It has fumbles at times, but I think it is still very enjoyable, and I don't think you can compare GoT to other modern day shows who are very linear in their plot development, but GoT is about a vast amount of characters in all different sorts of locations who need to be developed.

Thought this last ep was great, this season is much better than the last one.

Just because Im criticizing it or dont like some of the episodes means I should stop watching? I have invested a lot of time into these characters and its still a good show. No need to get so defensive. And I live in Pakistan. I download episodes. Only idiots here watch it censored on TV. I remember I rewatched some episodes of season 4 multiple times on the same day. Cant say the same for some of the rubbish in this season.

So Arya after getting stabbed multiple times jumps into a river and escapes. Then gets sawn up by some lady. Heals in no time and jumps off buildings and what not. Runs around like Usain Bolt. And kills the waif just like that. Okay.

well they did show that her stitches seemed to open up when she was running for her life. It was unrealistic but not very very unrealistic.

Yeah that was kind of pretty difficult to take in. :91:

Great point! Roose Bolton and Stannis Baratheon were easily the 2 best characters on GoT.. Sad that they killed both!

Pretty disjointed season so far. Hopefully last two episodes will tie things together somewhat.

What an absolute farce this season really has been.Apart from the hodor one,no episode lived up to the expectations everyone had from the sixth season.Highly disappointed.
And filler episodes in Breaking bad? lol

Not everyone can handle more subtle or less frantic episodes in a tv series, that's why you get movies like Transformers, to satisfy those who need lots of lound noise and flashing lights.

Yes I'm sure Tyrion sitting, drinking and jesting with Messandaei and Grey worm and doing absolutely nothing during the whole season had some really deeper meanings behind it.

There would be less element of surprises now, series has being going on for 6 years, major character who have survive has to hang on for climax, no time for fresh start of characters anymore...

I don't see how Jon, Bran and Mother of Dragon can be killed for the sake of surprise...Stark's are not going to vanish just before the climax...

I also don't see how the climax could be anything other than show down with Knight Kings next season. There is nothing else left to dwell about...

There is a reason no new characters introduced this season, it's about winding them down and keeping the strong one for playoffs [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]

Sort of like sports, as you go close to the finals, list is pretty narrow.

Rubbish season. Cant decide if this is worse or 5. What kind of writing is this?

I thought it would be a lot worse to be honest. The first four seasons were basically already scripted because the writers had the books to work from, but the TV show has now outgrown the books, so we are in new territory. I get that the author is probably advising the tv producers, but I just think that so many good characters have been killed off that the show was bound to suffer.

It's become a bit of a parody of itself and I'm hoping the finale isn't going to be a massive letdown.

Apart from the first episode, this season has been absolute rubbish.

Worst season out of all them.

I thought the hodor episode was really good. Battle of the ******** is going to be right up there next to hardhome, rains of castamere, and black water. Episode 10 synopsis also looks interesting.

True... A bit early to label this a total failure. The next two look pretty exciting...

Tommen is a terrible character. An annoying, gullible little... Id be a much better king than him. Anyway Im really looking forward to the battle next episode. Supposed to be the biggets in the show yet.

I agree. This along witht he previous have been the worst so far. This is why GOT will never reach the status of some other shows. I think the next episode will be great though.

The big dilemma today is that game 7(NBA finals) and Episode 9 are having same time. Show down of Ba$tards and of Steff and LBJ are going to happen at exact same [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]

I want to watch both live badly

Sad about Rickon

But seeing Ramsay being mauled by his own hounds brought a smile to my face

Best episode in the history of television. I loved every bit. They replicated medieval battles to perfection.

Epic....just effin epic. This was one hard hitting episode. I wonder what did they really save for the finale. I actually felt as exhausted when it ended as jon snow and his army looked like they were..

:)

An 8 episode build up for this one?!!

Brilliant episode nonetheless.

Would there be a repeat of the red wedding, Jamie Lannister looks very vulnerable inside the Frey castle!

Episode 9 of GoT never disappoints. That was an epic, gory and brutal battle that you would only see in films.

I gotta give it to Ramsay though, kept to his evil swagness til the very end unlike other cliched villains who break character and start begging for forgiveness/ show their cowardice. Sad about Rickon, now Bran is the only true male alive who can claim Winterfell.

Btw, I felt like Bolton's last words to Sansa implied she was pregnant- "I'm a part of you now".

While there weren't many surprises ( vale coming in Rohan style), this was still an incredible episode.

Honestly I don't think I have seen such an amazing battle since lord of the rings

Great episode, the satisfaction when Jon was punching Ramsay to a pulp..

Though they implied Sansa is pregnant now?

The good guys finally win in GoT.

Best episode of the whole series

This has to be the most satisfying episode

Don't know why but i really wanted Ramsey to win this one,John is useless would had lost the battle if it wasn't for woman empowerment.

Poor guy fought like a true warrior. Even if he lost, he would've lost in a very honorable way. He had fewer men at his command. 100 marks to him.

Lol Ramsey was being an utter lulloo and just watching from sidelines and ran away as soon as the tide begun to turn..

Lol Ramsey was being an utter lulloo and just watching from sidelines and ran away as soon as the tide begun to turn..

Yeah, What was special about him other than torturing weak opponents? -

Jon Snow is not only one of the nicest guy in the show but the bravest as well... He is such a kind hearted but not a weak at heart... Plus that guy is also least selfish, he made the pact between Wildings and Northerners, its like Indian and Pakistani living peacefully together... No matter what you say but he sees bigger picture better than any body else...No wonder he is most famous and loved character of the whole show... I can't image something ever happen to him!!! - A Ba$tard who is better than everybody else, that's also one of the lessons of the show or writers want to project... At the end, he might be the true king, who was considered least worthy by everybody else...

For me when his Girl Friend died few seasons ago, that was the Saddest moment of the show, I wanted to see that love story alive, they were so good together... Well this is not a bollywood movie!!!

John Snow was such a lullu today, almost got his entire army killed. Sansa is a million times better leader.

People forget every battle Jon Snow has fought is against heavy odds... You don't win those battle by watching on sidelines. He has to get into thick of the things every time. Bravery many times looks incredibly stupid. [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]

That's why probably Steve Jobs said: " People who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do"

This is part of leadership, you take incredible risk. High risk often time can be classified as stupid. But if nobody takes high risk world would never change.

Look at history, world has being shaped by high risk taker leaders, that's how innovation happens too... New frontiers requires risk not just strategic thinking only, somebody has to take the action [emoji56][emoji56][emoji56]

Sana did not wanted to have a war anyway. She did not have any plan, she was also the emotional one. Jon is also not stupid or over confident either. You will see his leadership will grow more in next season or too.

Part of leadership is trust, people trust him for his bravery and giving away his own self interest in the name of bigger picture. I don't see a better leader than him in the show right now[emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

An emotional mouse running straight into a trap isn't brave, it is dumb. John already had an impossible task at hand with only 3000 men. He asked his men to follow a strategy and then blew any chance his army had in a moment of rage.

Sansa on the other hand pre-empted Ramsay's move so well. She knew he was going to use Rickon to play games, something an emotional John couldn't see coming. John's leadership was poor, and it was sheer luck that his men didn't find their graves in the battlefield.

Haven't watched the episode but accidentally opened twitter and I now know everything about it.
