Game of Thrones [SPOILER ALERT]

Didn't prophecy say Dany can't have more kids?

Didn't prophecy say Dany can't have more kids?

Yeah the witch said that, but I have a feeling that she was bluffing, something Jon said in the finale made me think so. After Dany told him about the witch saying that he replied something like did you really think she was telling the truth.

Could be that she was bluffing.

Right now I see the end game as 1 of 2 ways. a) Jon as king and Dany as queen and the prophecy is false and they have kids. b) They both die and somehow Tyrion ends up on the throne.

I don't have any concrete proof of either, but the way this series has been from start to finish I have a hunch that b) might be the end.

Or maybe John was simply saying - ap mughe azmaa kar tu dekhiye ;)

This doesn't make sense. If night king just needed to put a mark on someone to break the magic of the wall then why didn't he simply put a mark on any person and let him cross the wall. He didn't need to wait all these seasons to put a mark on bran. He's come across many nightswatch men whom he killed way before meeting bran. He should've simply put a mark on any random person and let him escape. Don't think bran's mark has anything to do with breaking the magic of the wall.

Bran is not an ordinary man, he himself has magical power. Before touching Bran in his vision, KK and his army were not able to enter the Tree Cave, older three eye Raven specifically mention that to Bran, that "he touched you", magic was broken and they were able to enter the cave. For thousands of years, Children of forest and three eye raven were safe in that cave... If Bran was not that close to the KK in the vision, KK would not have been able to enter the cave...Now where ever Bran can go KK can go as well....All KK needed after Bran cross the Wall, is a tech that can bring down the wall, Jon expedition helped him hold on to a Dragon, that was the machinery KK needed to bring down the wall...

Arey that part I know, he was able to enter the tree because he touched bran, I am saying if it was that simple to break the magic of the wall too then he should have just touched any random nightswatch person he's seen over the years and let them cross the wall. Why didn't he simply put a mark on any random person he's met over the years, way before meeting bran.

So I can finally participate in this thread lol!Finished all 7 seasons in about a month!Easily the best series I have ever watched! Now I can’t wait till 2019 when the last season will be released.

Tyrion will be revealed as a illegitimate Targaryen, the last son of Aerys Targaryen who raped Joanna Lannister.Jon Snow will marry Dany in the end and she will become a white walker as part of the pact between the Night King and the humans.Jon will marry her to keep the peace and he will reign iver Westeros as the King.Tyrion will be his hand.Jaime and Cersei will die,Cersei by Arya’s hand.Brienne will also die.The Hound will kill his brother.

These are just my theories and I could be completely wrong.

OK, you're wrong.

Bran Stark is the Night King,

Tyrion has secretly made a pact with her sister or something (don't exactly know what it is) but he has made one. He will also become hand the king who will be crowed after this great war (read below)

Jon Snow will die but he will have a heir trough Dany who will rule Westeros

Danny will also be killed

Sansa will be killed and Arya would become the Lady of Winterfell

Kohli say nahe hota Chase

Hound will survive everything, along with Bernie and will become advisors to Arya.

Sam is narrating the Game of Thrones actually so he will survive everything as well

The guy with the fire sword will become advisor to Jon's kid

My Predictions!

How can bran be the night king? They are two separate individuals.

Bran can time travel & warg into someone whilst he's in another timeline. The (conspiracy) theory goes something like ~ Bran (original) traveled so far back in time that he couldn't get back to the present, the children of the forest used him as some sort of a weapon against the humans i.e. as a night king. They lost control & he's fighting them ever since, as well as any & everything living. The current Bran is a reincarnation of Bran the builder, according to some other theory.

I have only heard of Bob the builder :yk

Jon, Sansa and Arya meet up in a dive bar in Fleabottom. Dani is outside because she can’t find a parking space for Drogon. The door opens, Jon looks up, there is a moment’s recognition then smash cut to black. Roll credits.

Probably the worst season of the entire series never got the hype with the recent season, it was like having a microwave meal; best description of the quality.

Welcome to the group and no you are not the first newbie to frame such theories. GRRM usually has a habit of destroying these theories. Personally i like fan theories better than the original series. I read a fan book of Harry Potter and order of Phoenix even before it was released (thinking to be a leaked original) and later on realised it was better than the original.

I though it was a return to form, the best since season 3. Yes, all the teleporting to and from Dragonstone and beyond the Wall stretched credibility but the story advanced nicely.

They crammed too many big story arc's into a very short season for me. From a purely action POV it was easily the most spectacular though, but that works well because simple people tend to love GOT even more for it. If the season was extended in length and they paced themselves better I would have enjoyed it more, but wasn't really emotionally invested. But overall am not disappointed because I've never had a high opinion of the show over the last 2-3 years, watched everything a while after it had come out.

Without GOT, April is truly the cruelest month !

Missing those days when you had all of these wonderful shows one after another in the space of 3-4 months ..... Game of thrones, House of cards, True detective, Fargo and Daredevil. The years around 2014-15. At that time these shows were at their best too.

Try Westworld its a brilliant show first season was in 2016 and second season is starting next week after 2 years.

Very bad, seemed like a Groundhogs day knock off involving robots but without the humor. They put Hopkins in there too to give it some credibility, Very overrated.

I would recommend Mindhunter.

lol a few months down the line and after reading the books,my opinions have completely changed.I sound stupid to myself.

And I wish I read the books first, they are so much better than the show.

I was wondering why this April feels like something is missing and then I realized there is no Game of Thrones this year

Ripper Street has Ser Bronn as a Sergeant and upto now Ser Jorah Mormont has also made a guest appearance.... I wonder how many of the GoT cast will we get on RS

Superlative science fiction, which questions the nature of consciousness and asks us how we would behave to people who have no rights.

Will be fascinated to see how the hosts behave now Maeve and Dolores know what is going on. Will they form into factions? Explore other parts of the complex such as Samurai World?

And will be interesting to see how Bernard the second coming of Arnold acts now because Ford is gone only he was able to control him and if i am not wrong only William knows his reality from the real world? All others see him as real

Lol,WW is nothing like Groundhogs day even with Robots. Also why humor required in every show?there are 100s of shows full of humor out there.Lots of dark humor though.

Game of Thrones is the greatest TV show ever and no one else is even in the same dimension let along being a contender. It has transcended television to become a global phenomenon. Today the society literally looks at you as an outcast if you're not a GoT viewer. No other TV show ever has had this sort of global impact or impact on a generation and it will take some doing for another TV show to ever come remotely close to the hype of GoT.

This year truly sucks for no GoT episodes but we are in for a real visual treat in the coming time because next few episodes are going to be massive.

Game of Thrones films biggest battle ever

The Battle of the ********? T’was but a tea party. The Loot Train ambush? A mere blip. The biggest battle in Game of Thrones history has just wrapped filming – after an astonishing 55 nights!

We’ll eventually get to see it when the eighth and final series hits next year, but we’ll take any news that we can get at this point.

News of the 55 night fight-a-thon came via a since-deleted Instagram post from assistant director Jonathan Quinlan, claiming “Says it all. 55 consecutive nights. 11 weeks. 3 locations. You’ll never again see anything like it.”

Probably the last battle, the one between the White Walkers and the human forces.

The fantasy genre will forever be changed because of the focus on details in the show.

There is no Bran there. Storyline of Bran been Night King and that's how this whole thing will end, might be the Climax...Jon killing Bran to kill the Knight King.

I doubt Bran is the Night King. So far in Martin's books, there is no character matching the description of the Night King. I think Bran will control the Ice dragon, Viserion. He will take the dragon away from the Night King.

I hope they don't kill Bran, Gendry and Jaime.

Bran and Gendry are the only males from their bloodline and it would be sad, if those two bloodlines died.

Already feeling a great loss with the show ending in few months. It has been a part of a lot of memories and moments across many years.
Probably we will have to wait for few more years when we will be again able to watch such greatness on TV. But this show has been part of my 20s - can't say whether I will have the time and vigor to follow a TV show for such a long period again in my life.

So far Bran has not been able to defeat Knight King in anything, he has only made him grew stronger. His powers are no a match to Knight King. So far nobody has any power to nullify his abilities. Dragons and their fire does not hurt him, he walked over Dragon fire without a problem.

That's why his only utility in this fight will be to go back in time and try to change the event when Knight King was created(Creation of Knight King was in season 6, Hodor or an episode before that). While doing so, he will Warg into the body of the person who become Knight King. Jon has to kill his brother in other to get rid of Knight King...My money on that storyline as climax!!

I admit that would make for a pretty big storyline. Hoping one of Jon and Dany also die,as well as Arya.

I like the idea that Bran is the Night King.

I don’t think Dani and Jon will make it to the last reel. I think Tyrion (who is secretly Targaryen, remember that the dragons didn’t attack him) will be King Regent holding their baby, and the Targaryen line will be reestablished.

Even though I now prefer the books, i am giving the series a rewatch in preparation of the final season.

One of Jon and Daenerys will die.

Arya will die

Sandor will kill Robert Strong in Cleganebowl.

Jaime and Cersei will both die.

No dragons will be left at the end of the series.

Jaime will plunge a sword into Cersei as he did to the Mad King.

Sansa will be King Regent Tyrion’s Warden of the North, as she will remember his kindness to her when she was in King’s Landing.

Cleganbowl confirmed! :))

honestly I dont think you are that far off. I reckon both Jon and Danny will die, and Tyrion will stay alive as regent and raise their child.

Both the show and the books has drawn on the fact that tyrion would be a great ruler, but can never be a king, plus he is martin's favorite character.

Jaime is defo killing cersi, I just hope he doesnt die himself.

Really want jamie to get his arm back.. Not gonna happen but still wanna see his badass self for one last time.

I do think Tyrion is Targaryen(both him and Jon snows mothers died giving birth, has to be a link) but I don’t think they have enough time in the show to do it justice; in the books it’ll come out.

The amount of scenes that Grey Worm and Jorah have in the trailer surely means they aren’t surviving the battle at winterfell

Jorah is a good candidate for an early death. He has little impact on the story now, but he has been there since the very first episode so it will be an impactful death.

Ser Friendzone is a goner for sure. The whole point of curing was so that he could go down fighting like a hero.

Won’t mind Grey Worm dying either. The romance between him and Missandei is stupid and an unnecessary distraction.

Even though I now prefer the books, i am giving the series a rewatch in preparation of the final season.

The books are great, but they require a great degree of patience. A lot of irrelevant stuff is drawn out too much.

Nevertheless, this is an amazing adaption. Possibly the greatest adaption of all time along with LOTR and Godfather.

Don’t want to see Jamie die, but it is inevitable. He might sacrifice himself to kill Cersie.

Danny will probably sacrifice herself as well, but I expect Jon, Tyrion, Varys, Arya, Bran and Sansa to all survive. The Hound is dead meat too.

Jon King, Tyrion hand. Sansa Warden of the North and Arya returns to Braavos to continue her journey.

Varys continues to do what he does best, and nothing changes for Bran. Sam becomes Grand Maester. Drogon will na the only surviving dragon.

Nevertheless, all this sounds predictable, and we have been told that we are in for big surprises.

Varys is a goner, remember the scene with Melisandre last season 7.

She is the only major character that isn’t in the trailer so I’m guessing there will be some big payoff

Agreed. Especially Dany's arc in the fifth book.

Certain aspects of the books are far superior to the adaptation in the series. And then there are certain parts that are missing entirely.

What's also drawn out is the time taken by GRRM to write the books. It's become ridiculous.

I recently reread the LOTR books and then watched the three movies. Beats ASOIAF despite being 50 years older.

Still love ASOIAF, could talk about it for days.

I expect all the dragons to die and all the magic from the world will vanish i.e the Children of the Forest, the Others/White Walkers and the dragons.

Jaime will die.

Varys will die, I think Tyrion will too.

I thought the last Children of the forest died when Hodor died.

Given that history repeating itself has been emphasised by GRRM I do think one of the versions of how The Long Night ended previously is true and that version will be repeated again.

Which one is anyone’s guess...

The folks buried in the dungeons under Winterfell will be raised by the Nights king.

Aria is a heartless assassin now, she rarely shows any emotions. Yet in the trailer she was running for her life scared (inside the dungeons) which to me suggests she came across her father's (or someone else's) resurrected form and cannot force herself to "kill"

The shoe hasn’t confirmed this one way or another.

Tbh they made it seem like they all died trying to save bran
