Game of Thrones [SPOILER ALERT]

this ending was not as epic as the first season ending was, while the first ending episode was very dramatic one, but this episode just seem to conclude every thing in a fast forward manner..

but i have heard that among the first 3 of the books, the third book is the most interesting one, so season 3 is gonna be the epic season of all
 
nothing really happened in Season 2.......so i'm guessing that season 3 will be on Book 2 too
 
Awesomee ending to season 2, last 2 eps made up for a lackluster season. Also them dragons...
 
What were those things in last scene? Dam

Things i liked in the week's episode

- Emotional Scene between Imp dwarf and his love
- Robb getting married
- Theon Greyjoy's great speech
- All Scenes of daenerys and the dragons
- Last scene of vampires?

And Sansa is such a dumbass, although I am guessing she might get the hell out of King's Landing.

Overall, I liked the last episode.
 
I really liked the finale and overall the season as a whole was a big improvement over the first. Don't know how some people think it was a let down, but to each his own.

The last scene was superb. I had a feeling they would end it with the three horn blasts, but to actually show an Other? Ooft.

Easily though, the standout performance of this season was Theon. Alfie did a great job, the road ahead is harsh and reeks of danger for his character but I think he'll portray him very well.

I'm also getting very tired of Dany in both the show and books. Her story is frustrating, and if I hear "I WILL TAKE WHAT IS MINE, WITH FIRE AND BLOOD" one more time, I may kill myself. Someone needs to slap her and tell her the truth about her crazy father.

How so? Littlefinger is far more dangerous than he lets on, I can assure you.
 
^^Sansa didn't had to go with Littlefinger (who would've used her in his brothel)..

maybe VM is talking about that she should've escaped during the battle with the Hound when he asked her.

anyhow now Joffery is gonna make her life miserable.

Awesome, loved the others being shown off there..

next season is going to be epic!! the red wedding, the brotherhood, Dany kicking some serious butt, Stannis, Jon snow and Sam...cant wait!!

I hope George R. R. Martin eventually finishes this series off. The series was originally meant to be a triology, and it's obvious Martin isn't one to stick to time limits. I think The Winds of Winter will simplify the story a lot, I'm expecting mass deaths by the end of the book to be honest. AFFC and ADWD sets up the beginning of the end game pretty well imo, Young Griff could well tie up a lot of loose ends, as can Maester Marwyn.

The Stark's are well placed by the end of the books too, the realm is in worse shape than ever and Winter is finally here. I think he will need an 8th book but the series should honestly be done soon and I'd be surprised if the TWOW isn't out by 2014.

Emelia Clarke must of had the same problem since they avoided any further nude scenes with Daenerys.

GOT's got some weird women tbh. I'd take one of Margaery Tyrell or that wildling girl Ygritte for my queen as there's a wild side to me as well. :zaka

Both of them have one thing in common, things didn't go well for them with their ex, so most vulnerable right now and the opportunist king doesn't let go such chances. :D

yeah him being executed was a huge shock and disappointment for me. may be i'll just read the books because i think the next season starts at the end of the year.
 
I read somewhere that he was supposed to be Obi-Wan of the show. One whose death makes the real hero come of age. But portraying him as the hero made us root for him and his death meant that no one is safe. He wasn't Luke. I think
Robb/Jon Snow
is the Luke Skywalker of this show. Essentially speaking.
 
Finished both seasons. Addictive show! White walkers are so damn creepy!

What are your favourite characters?

Mine are Tyrion, Arya, Lord Varys, Samwell, Ser Jorah Mormont and Brienne of Tarth among several others. I HATE Joffrey.

Yeah, he is a sadist and a coward. Actor plays him real well. Ridiculous amount of women getting naked on this show. Not that I mind :asadrauf

this is the reason i am not into fantasy stuff..the names are so ridiculous that it feels like reading an organic chemistry book.

lol..I wanted to say Tyrion and....typo !!!Tyrion and Daenerys Targaryen...even then difficult names!!!

Do watch it though if you are into TV shows..it is great !!!
 
Jaime Lannister did NOTHING this season save for senselessly killing his cousin and a guard. He did have that rather awesome speech he gives to Lady Stark.

Am I the only one who thinks Brienne is hot? Maybe it's the swordplay? :13:

I am talking about Lady Catelyn. The way the woman carries herself. So regal. So badass!!! Sexy need not be just about young women wearing skimpy clothes. :p

Even the red headed girl Ros is quite a looker.

I hope Joffrey dies a horrible painful slow death.

He is just there to make profit. Whoever sits on the throne is of no concern to him.
 
There are no good or bad characters in this series except a few, everyone is grey with mix of good and bad traits.

Everybody likes Tyrion and Arya.

My favorite characters are Stannis and the Onion Knight Ser Davos Seaworth.

I also like Robert Baratheon for his past deeds which unfortunately we don't hear about much on the TV show other than smashing Daenerys brothers chest plate and taking the throne from the Targaryans by force.

Jaime Lannister is also a favorite of mine.

I doubt pure honour too considering he has Jon Snow. Oh yeah he killed that pet and the dude who told him of the White Walkers. So not pure good either.

Atleast we know the pure evil major/somewhat major characters: Gregor Clegane, White Walkers, Dagmar, the Torturers at Harrenhal(sp ?) and JOFFREY.
 
Yep the Mountain and his men are pure evil characters as is Joffrey.

Davos is probably the closest to a pure good character although you can't see his thoughts on the tv show.

I think she already has a man crush on Stanis, a lady crush on lady stark and a repulsed crush on Jaime Lannister (proven by her agressivity). I'm sorry but that's too much of a package.

Next thing you know, she won't divorce you until you're dead :/
 
Lol the only one she probably had a crush on was Renly. She should marry Sir Loras, Renly's lover. Loras looks like a girl anyway :yk

I'm sorry but her platonic love for Lady Stark is pretty evident (and more if affinity).
 
She regards her as a boss. She will serve her till death. Robot Brienne follows Asimov's 3 laws even in an alternate universe.
