Shae is the worst actress in the show.

Along with Rickon who really doesn't do justice to the depth of his caracter :yk
 
BTW, Old Lady Tyrell was a looker in her heyday. Damn!!!! She was a freakin' Bond girl.

Bad day. Jaime loses his hand, no Tyrell on the show and Robb let down by his uncle. Theon didn't get raped and it is now pretty evident that the man who saved him was the Bolton Basta*d so he may get bailed.

Loved the chair scene in the begining and Jorah putting Danny and Selmy in their places.

He threw Bran off the tower to save his own life, that of his lover/sister and of his 3 children. This was completely free. Although Jaime brought it on himself. I could see Brienne's face ''Shut up you moron'' while Jaime was only thinking ''Ha, I got that greedy ******* in my pocket''.
 
Its getting better and better. Jaime losing his hand was a shocker.

Lol Jaime got trolled. I am kind of divided about Theon Greyjoy . Guy murdered two children and did awful things. But you saw his jerk of a father and how he is so disrespectful. Plus, yesterday, I actually felt sorry for him. Guy is going through some well deserved but awful situations.
 
This show is so real. All my life, watching these war movies, i would always wonder why the main actors would go through all the difficulties unharmed. Take LOTR for example, the fellowship goes through thousands of trolls and orks yet only Boromir dies lol. Nothing like that in Game of Thrones, so many big players from season 1 already seem to be spent forces or have died. If i was to recommend this show to anyone, i would suggest them not to get too attached with 'any' character lol this writer is pretty bold.
 
I am attached to Jaime, Robb and Maggy. So far, Jaime lost his hand so I think he is safe for the season. Robb, things are not looking too bright: he is losing the war so he will die or be taken hostage. As for Maggy, I think she is safe too until the mariage. She may die the night of the mariage or giving birth to Joffrey's baby.
 
Ahh so endy likes Jaime that's where all the bitterness about Daenerys coming from. I see now. :p

Maybe if he hadn't taught Jaime fancy words, the hand of the king's son would still have his own hand.

The scene was amazing, you could see Jaime in trouble. And that delayed scream.

Daenerys is so lame. I like how Ser Jorah totaly shut her up about the amazing Rhaegar. And rape/innocent killing.

Even if Jaime/Robb/Maggy die, I think Ramsay and Blackfish are even better potentially.

I hope they brutally murder that inbreeding maniac down where The Night's Watch is currently hauled up. He makes me truly sick (An indication of a really good performance.)
 
Why they had to cut his hand? Now one of my fav is without one hand, :( Dont want to spoil it by reading books but hopefully Jaime recover his hand by magic and kill those ********.

LOTR is feel good movie, i wish they adapted this instead with huge budget. Its true that if they had movie like budget then we would see alot more crazy shi*t? Or this is almost exactly like books?
 
They would never make GOT into a full feature length film due to the following reasons:

1) It's far too vast, too many characters, too much stuff going on.

2) Film studios generally want their big blockbusters to reach as big an audience as they can, and thus usually cut out graphic content, sex etc in order to gain a PG certificate. If GOT was a film, it would clearly be an 18. How many blockbusters come out with 18 certificates? Not many.

GRRM got quite a few offers from studios wanting to make it into a feature film but he wisely turned them all down.

True.

Grindhouse was probably the last 18-Rated "blockbuster". It bombed spectacularly.

Shame really. One of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in a theatre, scratched reels and all.

But i was offering Django as an example of a successful R rated blockbuster. I think Passion of the Christ is the highest grossing R rated film in history.

Yeah I know. And Death Proof was the more "Artsy" of the two though I liked Kurt Russell's performance. The best thing were the fake trailers :))

Gladiator was a big success but I doubt anybody would provide proper justice to the books as feature films. Too much producer interference could ruin the damn thing.
 
Well there is just to many characters in different places to ever work on a feature film. Even the TV show while great in its own right still fails in comparison to the scope of the books.
 
The Terminator has to be the best R rated blockbuster ever, IMHO anyway.

I just love Iain Glen's accent and tone. It's coming from amazing balance between vocal cord and nasal cochlea. He is like young Morgan Freeman.
 
Senior Bolton has looked the real classy dude so far in the season.

I always thought Martin missed out on calling Robb the red Wolf (because he looks like a Tully) with Grey Wind being red too.

Worst day of the week. Knowing I have a 720p HDTV rip of a new GOT episode waiting for me on my machine at home, yet have to wait until after work before I can get in & watch it. Meh.
