One over seems to be enough for Russel to pick up 4 wickets :).

Jokes apart good effort to pick up that many in an over.

I'm tired these wide calls.. if it's out of the it should be called as wide irrespective of batsman moved or not..

Gaikwad, Santner, and Jadeja in unison have wasted the innings of this year's tournament by Rayudu. What incredible hitting by him, having brought his team within easy reach of what was looking like a really impossible task at one stage. A true super king!

Shikhar Dhawan's unbeaten 88, followed by an inspire bowling performance from Kagiso Rabada powered Punjab Kings to an 11-run win over Chennai Super Kings in Match 38 of IPL 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

After being put into bat first, PBKS posted a total of 188 for four, thanks largely to Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa's 110-run partnership for the second wicket.

In reply, CSK were restriceted to 176 for six, despite Ambati Rayudu's counter-attacking knock of 78 off just 39 balls. For PBKS, Kagiso Rabada and Rishi Dhawan took two wickets each.

It was a rubbish decision to promote Santer.. if they're planning to play Santer @ 3 they better pick Mo, at least he won't waste that many balls..

Absolutely! Besides, Santner never gives the impression of being an aggressive batsman or a hitter who would take the attack to the opposition. Chennai are behind on the table, almost certain to get completely knocked out of the tournament within a few days, and nothing seems to be working for them. Jadeja has been the biggest disappointment for me, from amongst the batsmen. Needs to get demoted to way back just ahead of the tail. Batting higher up the order isn´t his thing; he gets stuck out there in the middle.

Something tells me that GT and SRH will play in the IPL final this year.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have won the toss and have opted to field

Royal Challengers Bangalore (Playing XI): Faf du Plessis(c), Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Suyash Prabhudessai, Rajat Patidar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik(w), Harshal Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj

Rajasthan Royals (Playing XI): Jos Buttler, Devdutt Padikkal, Sanju Samson(w/c), Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Daryl Mitchell, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Kuldeep Sen, Prasidh Krishna, Yuzvendra Chahal

Rajasthan promoting Ashwin is understandable because they are one batsman short( Parag at 6, Ashwin 7 and four tailenders) so better to use Ashwin in the powerplays and hope he scores a few boundaries.

Chennai doing it with Santner was completely wrong yesterday because CSK have Bravo batting till 8.
