Really a wonderful display of batting from a number 10 batter.
I think Australia will score big on this pitch. Omission of Afridi will hamper Pakistan's chances . It will depend on how Pakistan bat in the 2nd innings.

I think most of their players are at the end of their careers and any time they can see a steep decline. Warner is going out now. Smith, Khawaja, Lyon, Starc, Hazlewood all have declined and probably close to retirement, after the WTC and WC wins they don't have anything left to prove. This series has been Cummins and Marsh vs Pakistan.

Very true. Also, Marsh is someone that for sure gives you chances to get him out. But Cummins is relentless with the ball. I still think we could have easily won this series. If we put the foot on the throat and Babar stepped up with the bat.

Smith & Labu form last year was average by their standard. So Pakistan didn't have to worry about their middle order threat. Starc has always blown hot and cold.

Even with some frontline bowlers missing Pakistan has been in the game in all the tests so far. Only the specialist batsmen, especially top order have failed, otherwise if they scored Aussies look very beatable.

Younis averaged 50 which is pretty good.

We've landed more punches on AUS in 2 Tests and 1 day than the entire 2019 tour.

Real shame that it's not reflected in the scoreline. The MCG Test was a real missed opportunity.
