How Kohli settles into a team where he may not be the most popular batsman will define his legacy

That is a good point about sharma breathing down his throat but i do think Kaptaan saab is secured with his ODI captaincy, i'd give him benefit of doubt and say he is a late bloomer in captaincy.

I highly doubt that, the only reason he hasn't lost his captaincy is because the teen bandar from COA are to scared to make such big changes, once actual bcci folk get back into power, kohli will lose his captaincy after t20 wc because just like in 2017 and 19 and every ipl season, kohli will prove he is a useless captain when he has to think on his feet not having the coaches play armchair captain like they do in tests.

Agreed. Teen bandar are Kohli mouthpiece in cricket operations. I haven't seen a player running board in a long time. Kaptaan's intentions are good but process is flawed.

Its amazing.

He comes and plays in the shadow of Pujara, Sharma, Rahul etc and by the time you are done being exciting and celebrating the other batters, Kohli is always hanging around with 60-70 runs ready to score a hundred.

He's become a master at it.

You literally don't notice him.scoring runs now with the focus being on other star batters.

Yeah pujaras breathtaking strokeplay never lets me move my eyeballs.

Kohli is on the way to become the GOAT batsman in T20Is, whereas Rahul's career is coming to an end. I always considered Rahul a hack and the most overrated cricketer in recent times. It's amazing how he got so many chances with his mediocrity.

Kohli is an ATG surrounded by hacks, FTBs and mentally fragile batsmen. The hipsters that are the Indian fans on PP need to get real.
