How many languages can you understand/speak and which do you wanna learn?

Mother tongue - Malayalam
Very fluent in English
Fluent in Hindi
Broken/ Serviceable - Tamil

Want to learn - Bengali , French, German and Spanish , in that order.
 
English mother tongue

German can read and understand most things I think. I speak alright but grammar in this language is just ridiculous but Germans can understand me.

Plan on learning Dutch as its a mix of German-English when I'm finished with German. Then maybe even an Asian language if I wanna go nuts. Plus French or Italian.

Hey Donnie, I started my Masters in Deutschland and language learning part is going just fine. I am planing to finish A2 by the end of this summer. How about you how is your exchange semester going?
 
Punjabi, Urdu, English, Italian and to some extent German. Will definitely learn Arabic, Persian , Turkish and French

I can speak Urdu and English fluently.I can also speak broken Memoni,and I can understand Punjabi and Sindhi.

In the future I hope to learn German and Arabic.
 
Speak 3 (English, Urdu & Punjabi) and have started learning french recently. Uphill struggle so far due to the intractable need to juggle work. Getting up at 6 am every other day to get skype lessons but need to find a way to keep the motivation from flagging.
 
English, Urdu, Arabic, Spanish and a bit of Malay.

Fluent in Eng/Urdu. Can hold my own in a convo in Arabic or Spanish. Malay, just couple words, broken sentences lol. Been 12 years since I was in Malaysia.

Bengali (first language) but can only speak/understand...cannot read/write
English...language I'm most comfortable with
Sylheti...can understand 75-90% (less if spoken fast without much English thrown in)...cannot read/write Sylheti Nagari script (most Sylhetis can't as the script is only now being revived)...learning to speak from youtube, but not at all fluent.
Arabic...can only read if there are diacretics
 
For me its all about Urdu and English. Obviously, Hindi as well thanks to Bollywood movies. And I can read Arabic.

Well it's taken a year of hard work but I'm content that I can now speak and understand 3 languages: Anglais, Urdu, and Français. 4 if you also count Punjabi.
 
I would like to learn spanish. I watch spanish serials on youtube with english subtitles. Some users are kind enough to translate but most of them are untranslated. So i am trying to learn spanish just so that i can watch the serials which i love.

I can speak english hindi marathi and telugu fluently. Read and write hindi english and marathi. I spent few years in oman and had arabic as subject but now it's been many many years so i can't speak properly or even remember to write.

At present I can speak English, Urdu, French, a little bit of Spanish and German. I can understand some Pashto and Punjabi - wish I could speak both fluently so presently a work in progress ... I would like to learn Mandarin, Japanese and fluency in Spanish.

I understand Danish, Swedish ( as these are very similar to Norwegian)

I understand some German and I also could speak a little of it some 20 years ago:)

Have been working on Arabic the last couple of years.
