The issue isn't Imran Khan, the issue is to drag Pakistan from a failing state in every metric and put it on a path to stability and development and the combination of political and military leadership has failed to do so for 70 years.

Imran Khan is just a hope for millions of people and Allah Ta'ala will bring someone else to restore Pakistan to what it should be.

The current government might be corrupt i.e. it made no sense to drop additional duties from luxury vehicles, which ofcourse would benefit themselves only.

However, PTI government was not only corrupt but inefficient - who can forget Usman Buzdar / Farah

Corruption will always be there, but this government knows how to run a country. PTI government was like chimps behind a steering wheel. It was a comedy show.

They had years to prepare themselves, but they were more interested in abusing the opposition and make false allegations. When their turn came, they had no idea what they were doing and realized that running a country and talking about are two different things, and they crashed the economy and also destroyed Pakistan's reputation globally.

Who can forget Imran begging around for support for the Kashmir cause and no one supported him. Then he went from pillar to post with a begging bowl and got some pocket change.

The economy was in freefall even before COVID, but that became a convenient excuse.

We have lost 2500 security personnel at the border since he went to jail. Beghairat come with facts, not some junk to please a schizophrenic Doc that needs urgent help.

@LordJames replying to your post didn't work properly, but I believe Asim Munir reputation has been fully restored now in the eyes of the public. Pakistani populace moves on quickly. PTI has been smashed to bits and there is nobody capable of keeping the flame alive.

I know from relatively close experience there is no fear or Imran languishing in jail. Establishment isn't even concerned with giving him an exit out of the country now. In fact some suggestions were made through people I know about how he could be useful to internationalise the Kashmir issue while Trump is onboard with Pakistan, and it would probably even suit Trump relationship is Imran was released and all blame placed on Biden but they didn't care about him at all.

It is sometimes difficult to let go of the past and painful that a man has been jailed on trumped up charges but honestly the ship has sailed. Munir has full grip. PMLN are on the way out soon too, likely PPP government in future.

In current climate where Asim Munir is defender against India and PTI has made dumb statements trying to make the conflict about Imran Khan then it not as one sided as you think.

PTI whatever was left of it has fumbled the bag big time recently. The politicians got badly exposed and deserted like rats.

I think people in most developing countries claim their politicians, and society generally, are uniquely corrupt. A Nigerian or South African reddit wouldn't look too dissimilar. It's far easier for the masses to pinpoint the Rolex wearing speaker of parliament driving a Ferrari who just so happened to be connected to a dodgy businessman as the sole cause of a nation's ills than to read economic papers and produce a 3000 word APA referenced analysis explaining the structural weaknesses behind why the country is propped up by IMF bailouts.

Corruption is a product of the fact Pakistan is simply a failed state. It has the worst of all worlds with weak civil institutions, weak rule of law, political instability, poisonous relations with neighbouring countries, minimal high value export industries with cheap labour being the main thing we offer to the world - all of which contributing to economic stagnation meaning the country collapses without external financing. The only times Pakistan experienced any sustained economic growth was during periods when it was an indispensable US ally and the $$$s rolled in.

Meanwhile the population grows uncontrollably producing more mouths that cannot be fed and more disillusioned jobless youth who then become prime candidates to fall into the hands of radical religious groups and criminal gangs, or be smuggled onto a lorry/small boat in a bid to start a new life elsewhere. Forget Asian Tiger, even becoming a semi-stable middle income country is a pipedream.

I agree but at the same time, I also hope that he lives for as long as possible (in prison ofc) so that he can continue to reflect how badly he failed and how soundly he was beaten.

He had every opportunity to do what he claimed he would do but he failed miserably because of incompetence, arrogance and cowardice of his supporters and party members who deserted him.

A quick death is not enough punishment for this evil man who brought the country to its knees and destroyed its social fabric.

Right now, the country is in desperate need of stability, and as long as he remains alive, his presence continues to fuel unrest, division, and chaos. With his death, the constant noise and propaganda from these anti-Pakistan elements (PTI Supporters) would finally come to an end, giving the nation a chance to focus on unity, progress, and rebuilding without their toxic influence.

He, and others like him, are a prime example of why Imran Khan should be dead.

People like him survive on spreading division, fuelling unrest, and ensuring Pakistanis remain at each other’s throats rather than working together for the country’s progress.

They have no genuine interest in unity, development, or national stability, their only aim is to keep chaos alive so their political idol remains relevant. As long as Imran Khan exists in this world, these loud, toxic voices will continue poisoning public discourse, dragging Pakistan backwards.

But once he is removed from the equation, their noise will fade into nothing, their influence will crumble, and Pakistan will finally have the chance to heal, unite, and move forward without this constant cloud of toxicity hanging over it.

These people and forces don’t just slow us down, they keep tearing us apart, fuelling fights, and holding back the progress our country desperately needs.

The longer they’re allowed to stick around, the more damage they cause dividing families, turning neighbours against each other, and stopping us from building a better future.

If we truly want Pakistan to heal and grow, we have to remove these obstacles quickly so we can finally focus on moving forward together.

None exist, this is Pakistan. Those who stand to benefit from Imran Khan’s death are the ones ruling the country, while those who genuinely hope for a true form of democracy remain too timid to act. It’s been this way since the very inception of Pakistan.

You’re confusing Pakistan with the rest of the subcontinent, countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and India may be flawed, but they’ve at least managed to foster some form of democratic resilience. Pakistan, on the other hand, has never even had the space to pretend.

Unity comes from the majority of people voting for one party.

The division comes from the minority of people who steal the vote and destruction comes when the thieves loot the country, depriving the poor people from basic amenities, stealing land which causes death and destruction and hence the murder of millions of innocent people over the course of decades and those that support this are complicit.

Secondly, visit Pakistan and hear directly from the people of pakistan to understand what they really think.

I speak to the poor of Pakistan through the charities I support, not the minority who are living off the poor...
You need to man up and admit your guilt or stop posting because each time you, you end up exposing yourself.

They are the real people of Pakistan, they live there, deal with the daily realities, and have firsthand experience of both this government and Imran Khan’s government.

They see the effects of policies on their livelihoods, their communities, and the country as a whole.

You, on the other hand, are thousands of miles away, far removed from the struggles and challenges Pakistanis face, yet you speak as if you have all the answers.

There’s a big difference between living the reality and just imagining it from a distance.

English isnt your first language but please do explain the racism in my post?

They are not welcome at my friends restaurant, no supporters of crooks are. They were asked to leave politely and walked out knowing its better not to argue. This is the UK not Raja Bazaar.

Please answer these questions

1. Do you accept Zardari and Sharifs are corrupt and taken money from the Pakistani people?

2. Have you ever been involved in corruption , ie bribery, not paying taxes etc?

at first, I thought it was just Bewal Express, the clueless PTI supporter, but you’ve managed to make him look like Einstein with your classic line about charities being your “first-hand information,” while people like @Major and @Mamoon , who actually live there, are somehow the liars.

This is an idiotic argument. One does not need to live somewhere to know the truth, unless you can prove its false. Many British Pakistanis have a lot of family and friends in Pakistan. You do realise its 2025? People communicate daily.

Let’s not forget it’s 2025, and almost every Arsenal game is broadcast live. Pakistan isn’t the backward place you PTI fans imagine. They’ve got colour TVs, OLED screens, and even Dolby Atmos sound systems all right there.

You can’t blame them for their ignorance. These people never stepped back in Pakistan after their parents left their villages in the 70’s and 80’s to drive taxis and work in factories in the Midlands.

Supporters of Nawaz and Zardari are so poor at debating but very good at corruption.
