Unfortunately you're mistaken that the same would apply when it comes to playing Pak.

Pak would beat IND 7/10 times currently in Tests. Worse, it's 50/50.

Even Mickey himself knows he is talking rubbish. Babar can be compared with Dhawan but he has still a long way to go before coming to any conclusions. He got exposed in ODIs against India in Asia cup and his true test will come in SA as for his Test career goes.

Firstly, it is pointless to make any such argument that at this age, he is as good as an XYZ player at his age. Cricket is not a linear game and definitely not when we debate after 30 ODI matches.

Still, I don't think Babar is even close to that level at age of 24 as Kohli was, let alone better.

At 24, Kohli had hundreds vs Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka (a much better SL team, arguably one of top team), Pakistan(Asia Cup inning) and that famous Hobart Knock. All this came by the time he reached 24.

The statement was given 2 years ago. And at the age of 22 both babar and kohli had same record.

How did you get to that figure? Even if we look at the history the Test contest has never been lopsided. It is 12-9 to Pakistan, in spite of them being the superior team for the most of last 4 decades. So with current teams evenly matched or India slightly ahead in Asia how do you think Pakistan can beat India 7 times out of 10?
