In a rare interview with journalist Mehdi Hassan, former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke out from prison about the harsh conditions of his confinement and criticized Pakistan’s political and military leadership. Khan, a former cricket legend, described his solitary confinement as a "death cell" and claimed he is being denied basic prisoner rights, accusing authorities of using psychological tactics to break his spirit. Despite these challenges, he draws strength from his faith in Allah.

Khan attributed his imprisonment to former army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, accusing him of orchestrating a scheme to remove him from power and spreading false narratives to justify his removal. He defended his government’s foreign policies, including a controversial trip to Russia, stating it was a collective decision.

Reflecting on his time in office, Khan criticized the current government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, labeling it illegitimate and accusing it of election rigging and violence. He emphasized that his struggle is for democracy and the rights of the Pakistani people, urging the international community to take notice of the repression in Pakistan.

Khan's defiance resonates with many in Pakistan who see him as a symbol of resistance against corruption and injustice. He remains steadfast, declaring that the fight for democracy and the rights of 250 million Pakistanis continues.

The actions of Establishment and PDM have made IK 10 times the leader he ever was. A blessing in disguise for him

@Bewal Express @IMMY69

If he's in a death cell, how is he able to give interviews to international media?
For a start they went ballistic with one picture so you know the kind of terrible conditions he is kept in. And why is he kept like this? What are the charges? Is it the cypher? Is it the iddat case? Or is it the Toshakhana case, where the judge had to run off? Aren't you embarrassed that a legend that has brought billions into PK has been locked up on fake cases for nearly a year. But you aren't because that requires for you to know the difference between right and wrong. And you and your ilk don't.

As far as this is concerned-Through his lawyers. These interviews aren't strictly interviews are they. Surely it's not rocket science to see how these interviews are done. Why don't they let him actually speak to Mehdi and we can hear him.

Imran say he is not afraid of anyone and he derives his strength from Allah. That is hard to believe when he refuses to call out the current khakis who put him in prison.

Obviously you don't follow the news. One of the new charges coming is that he threatened Munir after his wife was poisoned . Surely a bit of research before posting would have helped

Today Sharjeel memon accused IK of using twitter from the jail premises, the other day SC gone bonkers over his one picture. Certainly the more restrictions they pose, the more eager people become to see or listen to him

Isn’t X/Twitter is banned in Pakistan? Is IK somehow accessing the internet through a VPN from his death cell? 😂 Sharjeel Memon was always dumb but I didn’t know he was mentally incapacitated.

As IK said, these guys are not educated and they do not even try to learn something. What else can you expect from a minister from sindh who, I am not sure, has passed 10th standard or not.

Another moment where it is established that these thugs are illiterate and they do not even try to learn.

Pakistani politicians are dumb.

Remember when one refused to say the name of the uni that Imrans kid studied at because it was dirty?

The name of the uni was Middlesex university.

These are the types of bufoons in charge

Talal Chaudhry Slams PTI Founder for Special Treatment

Talal Chaudhry, a leader of the Muslim League (N), has slammed the founder of PTI, stating that no prisoner has the luxury of an exercise machine, a personal doctor, and an employee. In a press conference, Chaudhry accused the PTI founder of attempting to create a false narrative, a tactic he claimed the founder has expertise in.

Chaudhry emphasized that no one has received such privileges as the PTI founder, who enjoys facilities like an exercise machine, a personal doctor, and a staff, yet claims to be in solitary confinement. He condemned the May 9 incident as an attempt to create divisions within Pakistan's institutions and accused the PTI of pressurizing the judiciary for relief.

Chaudhry pointed out that the PTI founder has been receiving special treatment, including seven rooms, a luxury not afforded to any other convicted prisoner. He criticized the double standards and urged the judiciary to resist any pressure from the PTI.
