Says the guy who has no issues with Jofra Archer deserting his country to play for England.
Mr Double Standards...uno...dos...tres...quotro
There is no hypocrisy. Just the usual ignorance and false equivalence on your part.
Archer, in spite of being a remarkable talent, did not get a fair shot in Barbados and was neglected by WICB for the U-19 World Cup in 2014.
But he went to Sussex and proved himself to be a top bowler. 5 years on, he helped his adopted country win the World Cup and now he is one of the top bowlers in the world.
For the same reasons, I have no problem with Imran Tahir. He didn’t get his chance in Pakistan and went to South Africa without looking back. He proved himself to be one of the best white ball spinners in the last 15-20 years.
On the other hand, this guy is delusional and overestimated his capabilities. He thought he is as good as his father and felt entitled to play international cricket.
He had the gall to claim that he was not getting chances because he is Abdul Qadir’s son, a claim which is ridiculous that I don’t even need to explain why.
He talked about representing Australia when he is not even good enough to play international cricket, let alone play for one of the elite sides in the world.
Had he proved to be good enough for Australia and made a mark in international cricket, I would have had nothing but respect for him.
But this guy was given a brutal reality-check by Australia and he came back home with his head hanging in shame, and now he wants to play for Pakistan as if nothing happened.
Australia showed him his aukaat so what does he want from Pakistan now?
