What if the number of days in test cricket is taken off to be unlimited and the match keeps going till someone wins,do you think that will be really skilled cricket?
Just a question however terrible it sounds,what your opinion on that?

I've been supporting and defending them for years. I've had enough now.

I honestly don't understand how these guys choke like this. The rugby team at least have 2 World Cup wins behind their name, yet these talented and highly rated players constantly fail.
 
Its one thing to lord it over in bilaterals but you need to step up when it matters in big tournaments and SA have failed to do that this CT.
 
People are behaving as if the match is over,surface is dry Tahir will be dangerous along with Mornie,not to forget Pandya still has overs to complete.

Very good question, actually.

My own position is clear: any Test in which a side scores 500 in an innings should be abandoned. Dead wickets and rubbish balls are killing Test cricket.
 
Duminy should play the innings of his life today or this should be the end of his career.

We have a history of spanking leg spinners, good thing there is no finger spinner in the saffer camp, well except duminy , need to be careful of duminy
 
No teams kick their own A$$ like RSA & PAK. They also share pretty similar cricketing kit. It is in the kit.

i am happy india reaching otherwise SA would have choke in semis against ban

india will win the semis easily while don,t see pakistan or sL beating england in semis .So

england vs india in final time for england to take revenge
 
To be honest i am a bit disappointed in the match, i thought it would be lot more tough for India.

Though only quarter of the match has passed but it looks like smoother sailing for India after those quick wickets.
 
Duplessis and duminy don't instill the fear among Indian fans like de kock, or devilliers or even miller, these two might play a great match winning knock from here but right now I am very relieved and relaxed to see the back of devilliers and de kock :amla

Exactly. Tahir will be very dangerous sicne the pitch looks very dry. This will be a very difficult chase.

Amla has single-handedly lost South Africa this match. Should stop playing ICC tournaments and stick to playing IPL.

This evening I rang my best mate from Manchester, who I used to go to the cricket with.

After about twenty minutes I asked him if he was enjoying the Champions Trophy. He replied "You're a bit behind in Australia, aren't you? It finished last week - Real Madrid slaughtered Juventus".

In effect, you have a tournament being hosted in England for Indian TV, and almost no non-Asian English people even know it's happening.
 
Don't know will we ever see end of two greatest streaks in cricket in our life time, Indian WC streak vs Pakistan, and SA streak of not winning a major ICC trophy if you don't count that 98 knock out Cup win.

What do you think caused the Donald/Klusener incident in the 1999 World Cup semi-final?

We have a major world team whose players earn tiny money, and keep losing from strong positions in international tournaments.

It's grossly irresponsible that nobody ever queries fixing.

Yeah I can understand you! I have supported Pakistan for years believe me it's really difficult to support them at least south Africa choke in semi finals or finals on other hand Pakistan most of the time they crashed out in 1st stage.Even now I m really feeling sad seeing this happening to south Africa. But still they need fans support.Be optimistic!!
 
Won't survive 50 overs.

Somehow, they manage to goof up in big matches - today through 2 comical run outs.

Why are you posting in a CT thread if you don't care about Mickey Mouse cricket? Don't you have a life? Go do something else rather than posting on a CT thread and bashing the tournament which you don't even care about..

Regarding the "no one cares" the rating of this tournament will show you that people like you are in the minority it's better for your blood pressure to realise it sooner than later..


I don't mean to be rude here but you are coming across as a sore loser like many others on Internet who have nothing better to do in life than bash something they apparantly don't even care about and don't even watch just to pick up fights.. I thought you are old and mature why act like a teenager?
