Malik is in the form of his life, the way he cuts and pulls is a delight to see, what I like most about him is his ability to rotate strike effortlessly unlike other Pakistani batsmen, how is it possible for one batsman to be so good at strike rotation while others in the same lineup to struggle in the same facet? You'd think that those batting around him would learn the art of piercing the gaps and rotating strike with ease but not to be.

Ridiculous organising Day/Night matches at this time of year in England. Poor fans will have to wait around now during the rain in this cold.

It's like they are a bunch of ******* or something. Everytime they organize tournaments in England during the summer and every time it rains and ruins matches.. It's like their brains are too numb to process.
 
Babar playing long innings will be huge for him and Pakistan. We cannot afford to loose him at this stage. He must also be shielded from Misbahism, get rid of Misbah's bakayiaat (Azhar, Hafeez, Shezad for sure)...We need to fill team with fearless cricketers, again change of attitude is needed...Hasan, Shadab type players...I think Raees is also good, Fakir today showed a ray of hope... Please for the sake of Pakistan retire Misbahism as well, its sicking as hell :acp:

Fakhar has got awesome bat speed. I am seeing a brighter future if we get rid off dead woods. This is too much to ask from corruption ridden institutions in Pak/
 
Pakistan need to drop Azhar & Haffez . They just don't meant for modern game. They r from old school of thought. HARIS & fahim should play next match. Malik should come at no.4 while sarftaz can open the batting along with fakhar.

DWL works in favor of teams with wicket. Even if overs are not curtailed, AB actually has used 14 overs of Morne & Rabada. In case of a 40 overs match, they have just 1 over each & the target will be easier.


But yes, match isn't finished yet.

The peak of the summer is July and August. Staging a tournament in early June is asking for trouble - infact last June was the wettest on record.

It all just goes to show how PCB is managing the affairs. When any tom dik and harry can see this hidden talent in fakhar and Haris type of positive players, these ostriches have their heads buried in sand. Irony is that dead wood is always on the surface to reappear from nowhere even if taken out temporarily. We just need to honest to the country to benefit the most from the talent pool we have to succeed. One of the prime example is Fawad Alam, who despite scoring runs, has failed to play any test cricket.

Still you need to kick out Hafeez asap to save your team from tuktuking mentality and mounting pressure. Look at Malik, he is fit and at more ease than anyone else in the team...
 
Heartening to see Pakistan play like this. Go boys!

The one change I would like to see is Haris Sohail instead of Hafeez and you'll do even better.
