New Zealand defeated them in 2022t20 wc and was responsible for their early exit ,They are full on revenge mode.

I'd have gone with a spinner. Glen Phillips. Pace is disappearing quicker than it is arriving.

Nz always get flattened by aus.

Any team that can attack boult and Henry early will decimate them. Need to be proactive. They are really nothing special. Boult is like clouderson. Without swing he is useless. His record in India in tests for example is very poor. Even in aus.

Henry is too overrated.

Lockie is good but again just a speed demon. Nothing else.
 
Competition between Warner and Head lol That is the only contest we see here. Nothing else.
 
Rohit and kohli can never attack bowlers like this in power play. Or can they?

Just look at their record in last 2 years.

Nobody and I mean NOBODY can do this . Others would be foolish to try.

Not sure what you've been watching - Rohit has been extremely destructive in this format of the game.

yea. Currently nobody will attempt. May be if QDK opens with someone else.
 
If the wicket remains similar, on such tracks and smaller boundaries, AUS and SAF really looks scary. IND has very good, classical batsmen, but even RS isn’t this brutal.

Particularly, at Wankhede on the red soil track - miscued spin will also end in second tier …

There are tons of comparison threads on here of Pakistani Batsmen Vs Rest of the World batters. Posters gushing about Babar, Imam et al.

Pakistan's ongoing and past performances specially on these Indian batting friendly tracks should put that debate to rest.
 
t20 has changed the One dayers. Their weakness is spin. These guys were feeding 4 seamers upfront.

SA can't match this opening pair. Maybe their 4, 5 and 6 can . But no way can top order match this.

Warner is still very classy and uses a lot of timing as well.

Head is pure destruction. Nothing fancy about his strokeplay . Just insane intent.
 
How do you even bowl to this pair.

I'm looking forward to seeing India bowl to them (and SA), specifically Bumrah - that'll be a real world class elite contest.

They can sometimes actually, if Bavuma again gets injured and Reeza opens;

…but this is insane - I’m sure even this Aussie pair won’t match it in 10 other tries - today is Kiwis bad day.

Kiwis have lost their mind - absolutely no way they are going to contain with short staff, even at 170km. Bowl pitched-up and close to body, Aussies are not comfortable in hitting on front foot. They’ll still hit boundaries & sixes, but in the V and chances are there they’ll mid time few. Bowling short & trying to force them on back-foot - NO CHANCE
 
Venues change but Australians don't stop bullying Kiwis as far as cricket is concerned.
 
Not going with any off spinner is a crime against Australia. But they don't have any. That is the problem.
 
It is 1.47 am here and I am wide awake watching this match. After the IND v PAK this is the first match I am watching live and I do not regret it.

At 1 am when the match began I thought of watching the first 3 overs and go to bed - but damn these Aussies.
