But the amount of happiness I get from Pakistan winning-
Is equal to the amount of sadness I feel when India win

Realized it today. Otherwise India never won anything for 10 years so I never knew

Shami was the difference. Got the top 5 out. Pandya getting injured may just win India the World Cup

First you said India will choke but India won, then you said Rohit and Kohli will choke but both played well. Now you are saying India will lose if they chase which means there are more chances of India winning by chasing at Ahmedabad. You are India's no. 1 wellwisher man. Please come up with such things against a few of our players like Bumrah and SKY.
 
I prefer SA in the final. Not because i consider them easy. One team to which i don't mind losing.I sincerely wish them win atelast one world cup. Hope they win it tomorrow. Aussies have boat load of world cups. They don't need anymore.
 
For the second time against India, Mitchell slowed down when he was around 100 and after. After all the effort, his SR was only 110 while chasing 400.

It didn't. They both scored at 6 rpo and let the run rate go to 10 an over. It isn't sustainable. They rode their luck a bit and Indians were a bit sloppy with extras.
 
NZ have a very good all round team, only real weakness is Latham. Jamieson on the bench and Henry injured as well. Awesome team


India had Shami on the bench at the beginning of the tournament. Seriously amazing stuff, 2 great sides

Yea because with Hardik injured Shardul couldn't be depended on for 10 overs, and SKY is a better option as a bat. So they brought in a specialist bat and a specialist bowler

Never saw Pakistan win a wc in your life time so what would you know about joy really. You will never get to experience the double happiness I felt twice in 2007 final and 2011 semis

Chuffed by the result (in particular for Shami's feat).

It was a hard-fought win for us despite what the final margin victory may suggest.

Going into the final, we need to find a way to avoid making mistakes that we did today while bowling/fielding (Siraj is of special concern; he is turning into a bottler, bowling so many buffet balls as he used to do in IPL).

Congrats to all fellow Indian fans and commiserations to NZ fans and the anti-India brigade!

It was a horrible commentary to listen to during our batting. I truly believe, he is the sole reason for our milestone craziness among batsmen. It would make that much better to have someone like Bishop, Ian Smith, Nasser, Atherton, Mark Nicholas, and Shastri as the rotating commies for the finals. I just wish we didn't have to endure SunnyG, Sanju Manju, and Anjum Chopra gang in the Final's commentary feed. I know this is never going to happen but it would be nice to have an alternative feed, though).

With 14 overs remaining, the result was in the balance. Only when Kane Williamson fell, almost against the run of play that the tide turned in favour of India.

I was convinced, was frustrated for a short while with laxed fielding efforts but end results was never in doubt bro.
Perhaps you were concerned that RRR can be caught up but Mitchell is a great bat but no maxwell

New Zealand has had a terrible World Cup themselves.

They only beat:

Afghanistan
Bangladesh
Netherlands
England
Sri Lanka

Feel like England was a one-off. Had NZ faced England at the business end of the tournament, England would've defeated NZ too.

Teams can have off day. Besides this is freaking wankhede. Ground designed for breaking hearts of fielding team under lights. India's best hope was taking 3 or 4 in the first 15 or 20. That didn't happen. Thankfully few heroic performances saved us

NZ almost chased down 388 against Aus. Lost by only 7 runs. Gave Ind a scare today as well as in the league game. Further, Williamson missed most of the games against top sides due to injury. Ferguson also missed a few. They are not a bad side. But not really a top side either. Their no 4 position in this WC is nearly a true reflection of what they are.

Been calling out how they are a batting-heavy team that had a bowling attack that was full of bits and pieces and aged-out has-beens (barring Santner).

When they faced tougher opponents, it got laid bare.

They are number truly, deserve not more or less. In fact all other team had lesser potential and performed less than them. Including AFG ( I love them btw) who choked massively when it mattered

Commie wise SunnyG is fine but by God that Anjum Chopra and DK need to be kicked out asap. DK is like every second Kohli this Kohli that , bear the wrath of Kohli fans , blah blah - am like dude Ind cricket is not Kohli.. Every single game you play for your country is a privilege. It should be about Ind and not about an individual. And BTW Shreyas was the main batsman today who got Ind to 397.. His knock should be celebrated way more than Kohlis knock and he didnt slow down in his 90s... This milestone drama does Ind cricket a disservice..
 
Pitch changed or not, that is another story, but the phainty this Indian team is dishing out to every team here is just next level. You see all these Rachins, Conways, Maxwells,Klaasens, Markrams destroying all attacks but they turn into chuhay against Indian bowling lol.

The opposition did well today we had a massive off day except Shami.
Bumrah and Kuldeep came back strong though.. thanks to Rohit’s calmness as well.
 
if india took chances and dint give extras nz would be all out for under 290.

Also congrats to my boy Virat. We go way back. Can’t believe it’s been 14-15 years since he was in Pakistan touring with the A side or something iirc.

Now he has surpassed Tendulkar, something Sachinistas said would never happen for a hundred years or whatever.

Wouldn’t be surprised if another guy comes in next few years and surpasses both.

By this definition, Pakistani team of 1992 were chokers because they won the final by batting first. Same was the case for the Pakistani team that won the Champions Trophy.:sangry
 
The average victory margin for us in this WC now is 175 runs, 6.4 wickets and 64.4 balls remaining.

Australia's 2007 triumph was 147.67 runs, eight wickets and 89.2 balls remaining.

That's how dominant we are in this WC, so far.
