There are two types of hitters. One bottom hand hitters. (Gill, Kohli. ) Other one top hand hitters (Gilchrist. etc). Iyer is a top hand stroke player. That is why he has more margin for error. He can extend his arm through the ball and still impart a lot of power

T20 he has failed since winning in 07 however.
