Update on Shadab Khan: He isn’t available for the Bangladesh game.

Shadab Khan suffered a concussion in Pakistan’s match vs South Africa. After a thorough assessment, the medical panel had no choice but to rule him out of the match against Bangladesh.

This was Shadab’s third concussion since September last year. He had a collision with his Sussex teammate while fielding in the Vitality T20 Blast in May this year and previously during Asia Cup final last year in Dubai, when his head crashed into Asif Ali’s elbow while fielding.

Every precaution is being taken, keeping in mind his health and wellbeing. He will continue to be assessed over the coming days.​

Guy can't catch a break. Hopefully he gets well soon. In fielding he gives his everything.

Players should reserve themselves while fielding especially fast bowlers.

Haris rauf comes to my mind. He dives left right center. He should be careful while fielding.

To be honest, this isn’t a balanced XI - in India you can’t play without a SLAO spinners, but today BD is playing with three lefti in top 4, sk makes sense, though I’m not sure if Aga can spin it. Shadab is a great asset for PAK, would have been MVP of this side had he developed his leggi, just even Usama level.

Point being in current squad Pakistan only had Nawaz who offers no more in terms of result than Agha, and atleast Agha is capable of scoring runs, and is also a good player of spin

What is wrong with our fast bowlers? Becoming an international fast bowler and everything that comes with it and different levels, you should live for getting the new ball. Every fast bowler at every level should want the new ball. They should work on bowling with the new ball.

Again comes back to so little cricketing acumen in our country. We are seriously terrible.

No this is perfect..chacha should have ALWAYS started every match that is how haris would have come after 10 overs..he has now realised his mistakes and thus started opening with him last game too. Pathetic fielding from afridi cost him 4 runs just now and i believe chacha started with 5 wides last match. This is what all teams are doing. Also i like teh balance of our team today with chacha and agha bowling nawaz bowling

I believe it was nerves, it was his first world cup match, and preassure got to him, however debut match or not, a child would be able to take that catch as well, really was a dolly vs warner.
