I can agree with that actually.

I wish Pakistan just allowed themselves to be more fluid with their batting lineup. If Imam, Babar, and Fakhar give us a really good start then I'd rather send Iftikhar/Agha/Shadab up the order to make use of it with Rizwan still there to rebuild if necessary.

Not to the same extent as Imam and Babar I agree, however it was only last week during a warm-up game where he was playing for his hundred.

It just an error due to the one of the overs only having 5 balls bowled. No one is at fault, just a very very rare mistake and technical glitch that followed.
 
I understand the absence of scorecard is due to technical glitch. But why is the coverage so bad? Coverage is at best running at a practice match quality. Already disappointed with the hosts.

The electronic scoreboard in the stadium wasnt working I think. Instead they had people updating the scores on a board. That's the issue with the host stadium

Again, entire broadcast is produced by icc and the broadcast companies hired by them. Nothing to do with india or bcci. Why is such a small thing so difficult to understand?
 
Rizwan and Saud are building a solid partnership. Some fluent drives from both a them will calm down the nerves of the dug out. Need to carry on till 35th over may be.
 
The camera cutting to the guy with the lone Pakistani flag after every boundary is quite funny and depressing at the same time.

Always loved Rizwan not just for his wonderful cricket but his super character and personality.
 
Haris is on the team as a reserve. He can not be brought in unless there is an injury in the squad and he is approved as a replacement by the ICC.

Beautiful placement by Saud, one thing I admire about him that I noticed in his clutch test innings is that he is really composed and cool. Does not let the moment get to him.

Him playing for his 100, is again a media hype thing, he enjoy the attention and loves hogging the spotlight.

But the 100 itself wasn't selfish or anything, he was genuinely batting and trying his best to up the ante, he's limited and can't up it beyond 110 lol, but he was trying.

The idea of retiring out is a concept he wont ever achieve because of his lovely I am not happy batting at any place besides no 4 nonsense.
 
Saud Shakeel is such a good player. If Pakistan can still bring in Abrar and if Naseem was fit, they were a much better unit.

If Naseem was not injured, Fakhar found form, and we could just find one wicket taking spin bowler, this would be one of the best Pakistan ODI tournament teams I have seen. I am not sure at what point they should just bite the bullet and bring in Abdullah Shafique for Fakhar Zaman.

I was watching the 96 Pak-India quarter final the other day, & Ian Chappel in the commentary pointed out, in the 2nd or 3rd over of Pak batting, the difference of class between Sohail & Anwar. Sohail had to take more risks to hit whereas Anwar was effortless.
We are witnessing the same class of difference. Saud Shakeel looks special when others are huffing & fuffing.
 
Saud is such a positive player. Not sure why Agha salman was preferred over him.

Good call @mominsaigol on Saud. I thought he didn’t have the firepower for ODIs but he looks great. I thought at best he could be in the mould of Babar who is great yet struggles to hit big.

Sarfraz, Saim, Sharjeel, Azam, Danish, Mir Hamza and Abrar should all be in the team however the same way Saud was delivered injustice, the same is happening to them
