That's is enough for any quality bowlers to get 1 or two wickets upfrontYes, it will swing more in under lights but for short period of time.
Kapil, Akram, Walsh, Vettori were all very good captains. This is the problem with bowling captains. Only one great bowling captain existed and it was imran khan.

"Weakest I've ever seen" seems to be the buzzwords going around on here. As for Bavuma, he's the reason we're in this world cup in the first place. This is the weakest SA fast bowling I have ever witnessesed in a tournament. It's shocking, as we were always used to seeing domination from SA fast bowlers. Not a single one of this guy gives me any hope. Nortje will be sorely missed. Rabada himself has probably forgotten when was the last time he used be a deadly loi bowler, Lungi is a pure trundler in such conditions. On top of that Bavuma either took inspiration from Imam or dreamt about Gavaskar/Boycott & played a tuktuk masterclass which caused SA those 20 runs you mentioned. I would say it's Australia's match to lose.
This Jansen has got some skills I can’t lie
No, India are not favourites.Top bowling this. If only SA could sort out the choking they'd be joint favs with India
Rabada has been awful for a whileRabada and Jansen should have share the new Ball .
Since ever? When did Ngidi become a fast bowler. 144 kph. Both of them are cranking it up.
No, India are not favourites.
The reason almost nobody rates this attack highly is because no one inspires any assurance to win a big match. I don't get any confidence from these guys that Donald, Pollock, Ntini, Steyn, Morkel used to provide. They have been really poor for quite some time in tournaments even though generally they are good in bilaterals."Weakest I've ever seen" seems to be the buzzwords going around on here. As for Bavuma, he's the reason we're in this world cup in the first place.
Ultimately it's not Bavuma that cost us the 20 runs as the wicket was nipping about, two paced and turning. Don't let how QdK played fool you, he's the kind of player that can take the pitch out of the equation, there's very few of those players going around.
Therefore Bavuma did his job and hung around to minimize the chance of a collapse. We were 240/3 or so after 43 overs after all. I'm not going to blame the middle order either but give credit to Australia with how they bowled at the death (which was to be expected).
Since ever?
May be it was a case of local boy QDK throwing Australia off their plans. This is really good pitch which initially I thought it was a patta
Bas meri MarziKo jee
its a slowish pitch with variable bounce, south africa made an above par total. This is really good pitch which initially I thought it was a patta
He will have to Warner is goneCan Smith produce an innings of life time here?
It's not over until its over with Aussies though. This Aussie team looks so poor
Yea 280 290 aus could have restricted SA toThis is a 250-260 pitch, like Chennai. Aussies dropping half a dozen catches, has it happened before?
Their lines were all over the place , feeding him leg side gifts but today they are bang on the moneyDelhi ground was too small and made SA bowling look bad. Also Kusal mendis was in the zone.
At the begging of his career he was bowling at 142-145+. Back issues then slowed him down (NOT to 125kph though). But ever since he's lost weight he has been cranking it up again. The COVID pandemic did him a world of good. Worked on his diet and fitness gradually.Everyone
Most of the time i have seen him he was bowling only at 125 to 135.
I think their side is ok they been giving the opposition too many dropped catches .Cannot remember the last time Aussies sent over such a weak side to a WC. I've been watching WC cricket since 96 and this team seems the weakest since then
Game over probably for Aussies unless Smith pulls off a typical clutch knock only he can pull off or Maxwell goes completely berserk. Very very impressed by Lungi, he has seriously upped the ante, always great to see a SA pacer running hard & bowling 90+ mph. This could be the beginning of an exceptional run in the tournament for the proteas.
Funny thing is he is their most inform batsman besides Warner in current set up. They also rarely play full strength side in bilateral. So their roles get muddled at some times.David Warner is so shockingly bad and past it. I am surprised that Cricket Australia did not take the call to move on from him.
There is huge difference in condition and quality of attack and it's not even closeAus is in same scenario in which pakistan was in vs sl chase.
But this is a seasoned by bowling line up. Srilankan average age of bowling unit is 21 or something. Very inexperienced. They will easily wilt under pressure.Aus is in same scenario in which pakistan was in vs sl chase.
I wouldn't say they are weak, more like undercooked. Because their captain himself is undercooked, on top of that they hilariously replaced a genuine spinner with an accumulator at best batsman. There's a bit of similarity with the 11 squad as in the legends are older, exhausted & post their prime.Cannot remember the last time Aussies sent over such a weak side to a WC. I've been watching WC cricket since 96 and this team seems the weakest since then
