Teams like India and South Africa may be strong now but will inevitably choke towards the end of the tournament. Pakistan and New Zealand will love it if England and Australia are eliminated here. Once we go to knockouts India and SA won't be serious contenders and door will open for champion mentality teams.

Other than Aus & only recently Eng everyone chockes in ko's these days. Unfair to single out Ind & SA since Pak & Nz have also chocked multiple times in last 15 years.

Well credit to SA trios to take full advantage unlike the Aussies where only Starc prevailed & captain clueless completely crashed under pressure. You have not seen Trivandrum yet. Just that it is not part of the world cup. They reduced SA to 9 for 5 with 2nd string bowlers. Then bowled SL out for 73. INdia has 50 grounds. They are so much varied in nature. Altitude, soil mix everything is different. All teams have a chance on the right surfaces. This is why it is important to cover all the bases.

If they are saying it hit the bottom hand which they say was connected to the glove that was touching the bat then look at the image on the left it clearly shows the gloves were not touching , the image on the right makes it look like that because of the angle . Was not out
