Bairstow needs to go big or go home. We need the game to still be within grasp when Morgan and Buttler come in.
Games gone. Was lost in the first five overs.
Bairstow now gone. But England couldn't afford for him to plod at SR 60 while run rate was creeping up. should have gone like Hales. Yes understand was a bad start but chasing 170/180 you just can't do that. You had to take a risk.
the run rate is now over 12, which means everyone from now on will have to strike at a SR of 200. Ridiculous really.
Hales has played pretty well though.
So much for Kp's replcaement.
he's at five. Which seems to be about right.WI were 101-0 whereas we are 60-3.. Very poor and having Morgan at 4 makes no sense.
exactly....
Bairstow isn't KP's replacement. Hales is and he hasn't done too badly.
he's at five. Which seems to be about right.
It's only due to lack of experience in the team I think that perhaps it seems too low.Yes you are correct, he's at 5 not 4 which is even more ridiculous. He is our best T20 player and should be at number 3 really.
Lots of people talking about England's poor batting but credit is due to Sammy for good field placements and the West Indian bowlers for bowling to that field. Clearly they have done their homework as the English batsman are struggling to find the gaps.
Well played Hales. Batted well at a decent S/R but nobody else has done much.
