ICC WT20 | New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 75 runs

Hope people will now agree with me that Mustafizur was better than Amir in this world cup.

Watch and learn other bowlers from Subcontinent. Musta is real deal, no just full of future promises.

Wow, what's going on. He's on a hattrick now. Easily the best bowler in the world.

Wow, some guts from macklanlanlan, he risked a hattrick for a competitive total.

DAMN Mitch!!!! Your were supposed to give him a 6 fer son!!!!

Bangladesh v New Zealand | ICC WT20 | Kolkata | Mar 26, 2016 | Match thread

This ipl season will be the most important event in mustafizz's career, either he will become a star or he will be exposed as every batsman will get used to him, time will tell

Do you really think Amir fanatics to believe their icon is second best to any one else ? They already ready either uses like flat wicket /Amir is tired etc :))

He is already better without even support from other big name bowlers. And he has clean history as well. I will take musta over amir any day though i have more sampathy for amir now a days

Bangla must win this match if they have to get rid of minnow tag.. dead rubbar, nothing to lose, familiar condition, crowd support..its their match to lose now

Who disagreed with you in the first place? :maqsood
completely agree.look at Amir last to matchs.8 overs for 80 runs,if he could have bowled half decent we would have won both matches.this Mustafiz is a magician.only jealouse people can deny this

These pitches are terrible for WC's, way too favorable too the bowlers.

Need these kind of wickets for Test cricket.

Magical performance throughout the tournament. It is performance that does the talking for him, and that is how it should be.

Mohali, Eden and Mumbai are flat tracks, Nagpur, dharmsala and bangalore are slow turners, we've got a great mix of both kinds of pitches which makes the tournament more exciting and fun to watch instead of boring monotonous batathons

So Bangladesh might end up beating the team that has looked the best in the tournament so far and might end up as the champions. And that after almost beating the hosts. I think it is a satisfactory outing considering Bangladesh's campaign was clearly sabotaged and historically T20 has been a bad format for them.

The team is pretty much missing 60% of their batting strength with Guptill out lol

Yep, a real shame that Mushfiqur and Mahmadullah sabotaged your campaign so badly...

Anderson's cutters looking good, another cutter paradise.

lmao let him perform outside the SC.

Why will he have to perform outside Asia in order to get the recognition he deserves.

Shane Warne was pathetic in India and used to get smacked all over the park.

But he's considered as the best leg spinner in the world but musta will have to perform outside to get the recognition? Double standard?

You have to perform around the world before you can stake a claim for the best in the world imo.

Ohh no.. Wish it was Mithun that's run out. Big setback this

As long as you prepare the slow pitches in NZ, they're ok I guess

145 is a stiff target on this pitch. May be you didn't consider that.

As for the Minnow tag, Win or lose, we will not lose to some folks like you. I am sure we won a dead rubber, nothing to lose, familiar condition, crowd support..that's our to lose.

Don't get the hype tbh, nothing about Muzifar excites me.

Amir and Starc are another story, they have pace, skill and that zip about their bowling which gets you excited.

KId's talented no doubt and will bamboozle if you haven't played him before. Indians had no clue last year but once you play him enough, you can manage. If you try to hit him across the mid wicket or through covers, you WILL get out. Got to play him straight or to 3rd man. Will continue to be a great death bowler in LOIs

Amir and Stark are on a different level with Stark being better at this point. They can swing, seam the ball at will with a lot of pace (145+) . They will own the batsmen in all formats for years to come.

No. Stop with the Minnows comment. Its not a shock if they beat other teams anymore. They belong in the Top 8 and any team in the top 8 can beat other on their day.

Their fans however think they are in Top 3 and are victimized for some reason. That's just ********

Few individuals doesn't make the mass. We know were we stand. That is the #10 in this format. ODIs is #7.

KW's selection spot on again, it was a great move bringing in McCullum for Milne.

It would have been easier for Bangladeshi batsmen to score against Milne with the ball coming on quicker.

They are the team to beat for some reason. You have been blessed with Great captains for a while. Crowe, Flem, Mc.Cullum and now Kane

I love how ruthless Kane is, he isn't picking on reputation.

I have no doubt Baz would have picked B&S and we'd probably wouldn't even be in the SF's picture.

Pitch has deteriorated significantly. Mustafizur would have been even deadlier had Bangladesh bowled second. Another poor pitch. Low-scoring pitches are not a problem but they should remain even for both teams.

Looks like we're finishing on top of the group :rosco

Play off for second place on Sunday.

So, about that sabotage, who's sabotaging Bangla's innings today? :yk2

20 overs makes a world of difference.

NZ have been cruising this match, not out of second gear yet.

Rahman always chokes under pressure , He is an over rated hack. Only Sarkar is the real batting talent in the team.

That mithun killed all the momentum there was. 11 from 17. Tamim running himself out.

A strong team has strong opening, we open with a batsman like Mithun who looks worse than the club cricketers I have seen in Bangladesh.

Willamson and Guptill, and who do we have?
