Come on Farhat's supporters, don't be shy now, It's okay![]()

I'm not shy and have to say he's quite a looker, also his undying spirit of never giving up in spite of repeated failures or missing straight deliveries is truly inspirational and I'm not ashamed to admit that I've shed a tear once or twice inspired by him![]()
Most of them are probably in dream world like now.
Watching Imran Farhat destroying Brian Lara`s Record 400 is thrilling.
Its not a big deal. Fawad Alam has few fans here. Imran Farhat is thousands times better than him. So there may be many farhat fans. btw i am not one of them.
to be fair he is a better opener than hafeez

Yeah I mean, Fawad cant even clear inner circle and still score runs while Immy can hit it big and get out on great scores like 5 and sometimes he gets out on a duck just so Asad/Younis gets a chance to play.
Imran has such a big heart![]()

I don't hate the guy. Does that make me a fan?
How about starting a "Imran Farhat VS Fawad Alam" thread?
Farhat has fans
I thought even his wife didn't like him![]()

I'm ashamed sometimes knowing that I share the same first name as Mr. Ilyas's son in law.
Not necessarily. You're just indifferent to him.

Sir Farhat
what a stance that is......
and then those cover drives.
and then that nicking to slips very often
beautiful![]()
I am fan. He has been more consistent than Hafeez in recent times.![]()
Nah. After seeing this thread, I think you can count me in. [AVATAR CHANGED]
They are two different kinds of players. Farhat's an opener, he needs to have a stable technique to face the moving ball, he needs to know how to pace an innings, he needs to take advantage of the powerplay overs and lay a platform for the middle and lower order. Fawad is more of middle order oriented player. His strength is rotating the strike, finding the gaps, making sure the scoreboard keeps ticking in the 25-40 over region, from where the lower order can accelerate and push towards a bigger score. Unfair comparison, in my opinion.
Never compare Apples to Oranges, whose the apple and whose the orange? I'll leave that you

Alam can never have a butt like imran..
That butt is the envy of all the baboons in the zoo..![]()

I am not his supporter...
but i refrain from bashing him...as
he made 100 in nzl in tough conditions...
and played important role in winning test match vs aus in uk.
That was also the innings in which he became only Pakistan's 2nd man to carry his bat. In yo' face haterz!1
That's what I call undying spirit in the face of adversity![]()

I fully support Imran Farhat, Fawad Alam, Younis Khan, Wahab Riaz, Tofee Kumar, Mirza Malik. No shame in admitting.
Hmmm, Indian mod supports Farhat and Malik, I wonder why!![]()

He is 1000 times better than the jaali degree professor.![]()

and personally speaking i think his brother should have played more then him for pakistan humayun was the talented one not imran
his video added from last years list a game i can only imagine how good he would have been when he made his debut in 2001

Do you guys actually remember that NZ knock? Do you remember how Farhat was playing? On a number of occasions he played shots which even the other Imran, Imran Nazir, would consider a bit too crazy. In one particular shot, he just swung the bat like a mad man, like how you may do in the park if you needed 6 runs to win from 1 ball and your dad was batting. The commies started questioning his 'mental' strength.
I appreciate Farhat from the 'Farhat-Hameed vs New Zealand' days.
Opinions on Mirza Malik are divided though, he was an embarrassing captain but a decent player. Now that he's half Indian i have no option but to support him.![]()
No Umar Akmal?![]()
?#$$$??
So 4 fans of PP. Quite an achievement for![]()
yes i saw that innings..and I agree that it was one of the luckiest 100 ever...
but it was still a 100 ...and he remained not out...
but against Australia
http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/426395.html
you can see that he won us the match...after so many decades.
after that day, I never said a bad word against IF...
and thats the match when Malik disappointed me.
