Result isn't disappointing. Man to man in the team, on the bench and second eleven, Indian players are just too superior to the Pakistani players. Mismatch really

Another day another humiliation for Pakistan cricket
SHould they lose it is not humiliation. Expected result. India is too good a side. But Pakistan should worry more about long term. They have to construct their T20 team slightly differently than this. They can get away with few wins in these conditions. What will they do on absolute roads. Hitting a six every 10 balls in between a lot of dot balls won't help you.

Pakistan spinners try to save runs instead of attacking wickets and take more chance; Indians the other way around

Wouldn't have mattered.

When India would have clobbered us for 200 we would have another reality check.
I agree. Still you go with the tactical right decision. I think we just chose to bat first because we afraid we would bottle chasing. Which isn’t a very good mentality.

I remember PCT in non- wc games used to smack Prassad like this -Anwar Afridi Ijaz Inzi, love how times have changed in my lifetime.
29 matches against PAK. Got smacked in 8 or 9 of them. Otherwise he was actually pretty good against them .

Agarkar was the real liability :dw

India break their Powerplay record against Pakistan

RizBar fans really need to take a hard look at this

India is continuing to distance themselves from Pakistan and the RizBar fans want to keep Pakistan static!

Lol they can't play spin what skill set pak hasn't even introduced abrar sufiyan yet
Lol, they were maximizing the power play overs and not afraid to lose wickets because we have a long batting. They could have played scared like Farhan did, but they chose not to. This is the highest power play score ever for india against pakistan despite target being only 128.

I even saw Mohanty and Kuruwilla bro.. I can’t even recall if we played against them but always felt like we got smacked in non-Icc games.

Prassad’s best game against PCT was 1999.. terrible throughout

Tilak is weak against wrist spin. Surya weak against SLA. So they are taking turns on who to attack...
Yep. This is what India lacked in that 2021-22 period. Complimentary skills. We used to play 8 RH batsmen who all sucked against the ball spinning away and, bar a couple, sucked against left arm pace as well

Credit to the Indian captain Surya, he had the fielders in the right spots in the circles, minimized the singles on offer for the Pakistani batters.

India top 7 are all batters with 140+ SR and some of them significantly higher than that while Pakistan has one, just one batter in its entire batting lineup with a 140+ SR and that is Hasan Nawaz.

Pakistan can't even cling on to the bowlers being better than India like they did before as it's no longer the case.

India gave an all round performance. Dominated with the ball, bat and field. They have some beast level players.

I wish we played some test matches against them. Scoring off their spinners is itself a very difficult game.

Gambhir will like to phase him out. Even if ROhit goes, it will be most likely Jaiswal that will come in. Made 88 in under-19 world cup final. Bonafide test player.
I wish Rohit gets kicked out before 2027 ODI WC for Jaiswal. Can't open with a 40-year-old player in SA conditions and expect to win the WC. Kohli at 38 is probably fine.

I think our full attack of Sri/Prasad/Jumbo played together was alright. But there were times when we had Prasad and Kuruvilla together etc. and then it was a hiding into the Indian Ocean.

Pakistani players re bad at rotating strike, it’s been same thing since last 10-15 years, captaincy was alright but more than captaincy it’s the inability of Pakistani batters to rotate strike.

Misbah retired from t20s 13 years ago. You seem to be mentally stuck at that age
You following this match on cricinfo ? You want subscription for Willow tv. Pakistan gave Misbah a tribute with tuktuk. Because of Misbah Pakistan unable to produce power hitters

pakistan could have been in a better position if not for " pace is pace yaar" approach of shaheen shah afridi combined with bowling full despite knowing abhishek will slog it

I am still confident with spinners if pakistan make 160 they can make a game of it but they must make 160 on these uae pitches.

humiliation ? They have already won ... because a tailender hit boundaries of JJ and we have lost 2 wkts already #LahoriLogic :cigar

Abrar is bowling ultra slow. Batsmen have to wait for eternity. Basically he is hoping for batsmen making an error than him beating batsmen with flight.
