India (175/7) dominate Pakistan (114) with a commanding 61-run victory in an anti-climactic T20 World Cup 2026 clash

I have issues with few of the pak players attitude. They care more about themselves than team.Tariq was happy to showcase his cringe act after sky dismissal. Tariq didn't even took any wicket when it matters .By the time Tariq, saim antics in the last overs, it was evident for anyone with common sense to predict what will happen next.Hasan ali, shaheen, shadab used to do the same in earlier games irrespective of team situation. Why can't they think about team first and act normally if their team is in trouble. Its the sign of professionalism just like any sena/indian team .

The Great Ganguly mocks and roasts current Pakistani Cricketers by comparing them with past legends like Wasim, Waqar, Saeed Anwar, Inzamam and others.
Great Indian Captain has all valid reasons to do it.

He looks more disappointed with PCT’s performance than PCB chairman, he isn’t mocking in negative way.

Colombo pitches are known to be spin tracks whether it's SSC, wRPS or PSS Oval.

Pakistan had the advantage of playing in Colombo, they couldn't deliver like India did in Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai.

India came to Sri Lanka after playing on flat decks in India, adapted to the conditions, hammered Pakistan & left.
Nothing wrong in what I posted. You made it sound like Pakistan played in one ground like in Dubai which isnt factually correct. Had to point that out that this was Pakistan's first match at RPS in the WC. There is a difference in playing at one ground like India for Champions Trophy vs one city which has multiple stadiums like Colombo and that this was Pak's first match at RPS. If it was Pak's 3rd match at RPS, then you could make a comparison.

Virender Sehwag took cheeky dig at PCT after yesterday's triumph:

"Among all minnows Pakistan looked like the easiest to beat for Bharat because of their 17th century approach to T-20 cricket, and they have taken a proper beating as usual."

Sachin Tendulkar shared following thoughts:

"The powerplay was where India took the game away from them."

"Ishan Kishan in the first innings, and the clinical bowling we saw in the second innings, made all the difference."
"We were always in the driver's seat. India rocked it tonight."

What a stupid post. Why can't Tariq celebrate after taking Sky's wicket? :inti

Saw this comment online:

'Toss is very important in India v Pakistan match.

It decides whether Pakistan will lose by runs or wickets.'

Ravichandran Ashwin came down hard on Pakistan following their comprehensive defeat against India:

“Where did they win to lose the plot? Pakistan lost the game when they opted to bowl first after winning the toss because we saw the match between Australia and Zimbabwe. Australia struggled to get 170. When we see IPL matches, teams win easily if they need 100 runs off the last 10 overs. But it’s not happening in this World Cup. In Premadasa Stadium, you can’t chase 100 in ten overs. The way Pakistan deals with pressure, India are 100 times better in that aspect. I don’t think Pakistan are there. Honestly, Pakistan have become tactically better under Salman Agha and Mike Hesson. But the way they brought Shaheen Afridi after Agha’s first over was a terrible mistake,” Ashwin said on his YouTube channel Ash ki Baat.

“You took Abhishek Sharma’s wicket, and he is leaking runs left, right and centre. We noted in the preview how dangerous Ishan Kishan is against left-arm seam. I feel cricketers need to be explained, ‘This is your match-up’. Data tells the truth. When you say Ishan is taking on left-arm seam, he is taking it on. I’m not saying don’t bowl left-arm seam to him, but they must do something different. If Shaheen was getting whacked, I would’ve loved to see him come round the wicket to the left-hander. He didn’t do it, and the second over should have been Saim Ayub."

“The fast bowler released the pressure. India were 159 after 19 overs, and Afridi was brought again, and he leaked runs again. Afridi gave away 16 runs in the final over,”
