SKY is insanely gifted.
India's batting is awesome when they're on. So destructive.
India v England will be an unbelievable SF. Hope the pitch is a belter.

13 millon now. I believe India-Pakistan peaked at 18 million at the end when Kohli was smacking Nawaz.
 
Very few innings were fluent in this world T20. Even Buttler was not always at his very best. Some scratchiness was always there in everyone's batting except this guy.

What is your opinion about Pant and Pandya today? You were going after Karthik for every minute thing but looking silent on these guys? :inti

I already said i don't expect anything from Pant either lol. Since last world T20 DK has dropped 5 catches. Pant has held 17 out of 17 catches with a 100% catching record. I mainly wanted Pant to have a decent keeper. He also missed run outs, stumpings. He is too old now.
 
SKY has batted on a totally different pitch to everyone else in this tournament. Even SA batsmen only spanked our spinners, while SKY manhandled their quicks.

I was only picking Karthik ahead of Pant because he was in the squad otherwise I would have preferred both Kishan and Samson. :inti
 
Kohli also just got back to form. He can't bat like SKY who's in the form of his life. Kohli had a Mount Everest sized peak from 2016-2019. He's still not back to full flow.

Just India? lol Vast majority of pak fans pretty much anyone who is following cricket thought that was the case. SA brought their "A game" as they said they would bring against Holland.

Ind Pak match was on weekend n on Choti Diwali so most of people where watching match on TV unlike during Ind BD match which was on weekday and after Diwali holidays

Hard to be excited for a sport over a rivalry that only pops up in ICC tourneys. Bangladesh has surpassed India in basically every metric so Indians actually take Bangladesh more seriously than one would expect. I have seen plenty of Indians on social media going ******* crazy after loss to Bangladesh (and full blown online war), where loss to Pakistan is followed by snide remarks at most.
 
Can't help think about what Moshin khan would have done on this MCG. Bumrah would have been unplayable as well.

Bangladesh was recently begging for IMF loan so not sure which metric you were talking about. Ind vs Pak will always be a rivalry. Ind Vs Ban will not be. The Ind vs Pak has watered down a bit because Ind vs Aus is also a rivalry that excites fans. It's been a while that BD won against Ind so not sure which comments you were talking about. It's the crying from BD fans that gets Indians excited I guess
 
The way Adelaide wicket played today, India might pick Harshal Patel. The ball was gripping and stopping all day.

I think they have reduced poverty, gender inequality etc. better than we have but I'm not sure what that has got to do with cricket, lol. Poster just trying to rile others up. :rabada2

May be. but the difference is pak match was on sunday and ban was a weekday. people might stream more on weekdays and watch on star sports on weekends.
IMO to get a full picture we also need BARC TRP ratings for both the matches too. then with both hotstar and star sports numbers together we can gauge the craze.

Per capita income, gender equality, poverty rate, literacy...basically everything.

I'm not saying Bangladesh is a rival, it will never be. But Bangladesh matches excites/agitates far more than many would think. Numbers back it view (whether viewer count or youtube videos). Idk why so I mentioned economic development as one possible metric

Nah, just my observation. I don't think I have seen many Ind-Ban interaction online that's not intense. Economy was just my guess since i don't have any other explanation lol

In India 250 mil people will always be poor. That number is about 150 mil in China. It's the sheer number of people that make per Capita income stats irrelevant. The size of Indian middle class is double the size of the population of Bangladesh. Yes, economic stats are irrelevant for cricket.
 
Pandya has been impactful in this tournament with his bowling alone. He has covered up for the poor show of spinners. :inti
