India [202/6] beat England [127] by 75 runs in the third T20I, win series 2-1

Not a good day for dhoni haters today. I guess their keyboards also deserve some rest. Thanks to dhoni. :sanga

Good(but not great) innings by dhoni ,yuvraj and raina today. Credit where its due.

Not because of Kohli, but others didn't step up! You need west indies kind of T20 team to flourish on such pitches! Absolute team batting effort!
 
Good innings by Dhoni, but wouldn't say it was a great one considering the pitch, ground. Took too many balls to get going. You'd expect someone to score at a strike rate of close to 200 coming in the middle order on this high scoring ground where 200 is the norm. Both matches Yuvi and Dhoni played well in the ODI/T20 series, it was Yuvi's one that resulted in India getting a great score in the 2nd ODI and in this decider of T20 series. Dhoni was scratchy for the most part in the 2nd ODI and made up for it at the end, which he doesn't get in every game.

Most batsmen start slow first.Raina types are rare
 
Below par score. But it's best we can do atm Imo.

Batting at 6 Pant is definitely being groomed for msd's job. That will be his position in tests and we don't have place for him above 4 in ODIS.

MS dhoni is just furious... Look at his eyes, looked like he will kill Chahal...
 
Is MS expressing so much because he is not captain or he is the shadow captain?
 
India bowlers should understand, cant bowl full. Be it slower also, it will get out of ground. They need to bowl back of length...
 
Root is too 'slow' for a 200 run chase.

That ridiculous throw by Chahal might cost India the series. India still have a better chance though. Boundaries will dry up now.
 
Root, Kohli, Smith, Williamson though the best batsmen currently, don't quite have the talent and power to hit sixes at will. Kohli is the best of the lot though.
 
I've been watching for like 4 overs now and it seems as if Dhoni is running the show and taking all the decisions.

I'd even forgotten Kohli is captain now cuz even the commentators seem to be referring to Dhoni

When ashwin was bowling negative line nonsense in one of the matches I hinted how dhoni might still have some say on the field. People discarded it. As long as dhoni is in the team he would always have soft power.Not that it is always bad though. Kohli is amateur still.

India has missed countless chances in this game, yet they are pretty much in the game. Expected better from a much improved English side.
 
What is this Root's innings. He is making Shehzad look good.

England have got so much LOI batting talent that they can afford not to play Root in T20s if he's going to play crap knocks like these. Now Morgan goes.
