India Stops Sri Lanka's Winning Streak in Close Match

In the latest Super Fours game, India stopped Sri Lanka's 13-match ODI winning streak, winning by 41 runs. India scored 213, setting up an intense finish.

The pitch was tough for batting. With Bumrah and Siraj's early wickets, Sri Lanka's top order struggled. The middle phase saw a partnership from Sadeera and Asalanka, but Kuldeep Yadav's spin broke their rhythm. India by and large is a much more professional team. They have a Western Attention to Detail approach to the game unlike the Pakistani Way Allah Mian pe chor do approach

Bangladesh have 1 good batsman in Shakib. Rest are all rubbish. SL batsmen look much better to be honest

At the interval i thought Lanka had the match won. Then the Indian bowling strangled the Lankan batsmen while Bumrah at the other end did his thing. I am seeing a India-Lanka final here with the former winning it again. What we should take note off here is that the Indian batsmen can be put in a spin by the correct attack. Lanka goes through if the Thursday match is rained off.

But what abt Mickey/Grant and Morne Morkel? mickey was also there in first match against India, and we didnt know we needed 4 fast bowlers at tht time..on that pitch…yet Indian management knew that

In match against Srilanka.. Indian management knew we dont need fourth fast bowler, rather a spinner and again they were spot on.

They (Sri Lanka) are bowling their heart out. Wellalalge and Asalanka bowled their heart out. You saw that 20-year-old kid? He scored 43 runs and took 5 wickets. I am getting phonecalls from India and other countries, saying India were losing deliberately," Akhtar said in a video on his YouTube channel, hitting out at fans while lauding the fight that Sri Lanka showed in the game.
