The Irony is all the Indian fans are hardcore Hindutva fans but it was a Muslim who won them this match and was the man of the series lol.

India will never be any good at football, in the past they refused to play with boots, we are safe. :)
Ah when everything fails, bring Hindu Muslim card. So typical.

Atleast India has muslim cricketers. Probably its time for Pak to allow some Hindu players so that they will no longer be minnows as they are now. Pak Hindus will make Pak batting great again

Doesn't compare to Ashes 2005 in any way. It holds the crown for the greatest test series of all-time and the greatest comeback of all-time

Don't make to take away from India's effort but they still didn't win the series

This 2025 India-England series had rubbish bowling and rubbish fielding. So, I wouldn't say this was one of the best series.

2005 Ashes was high quality. ATG Ricky Ponting's side vs a spirited English side.

I would agree the Ashes 2005 was a better series than this and the best ever but Eng won the games which Mcgrath didn't play in, so that was probably the main reason why Eng was able to pull the series off..

What bend over? Its 2-2. And yeah bring all of ya lot 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Half of you have already blocked me 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Bring everyone, imma rip everyone's head off

Woakes has had an iffy series so to get out to bat - staked a very strong claim to be on the ashes tour just for his character.

Gus with a 5fer and some gutsy batting. Gotta say this has been a great audition for England’s Ashes selection. Whoever they select, this has been a great experiment by England.

Let’s hope they pick the best squad for the ashes

And this time India only won when they were without Bumrah - Levels

A series that made for great viewing. England have choked this game and a series win away, but if you look at an overall perspective 2-2 is probably a fair reflection of a very well contested series that swerved this way and that.

Brook playing a reckless shot caused the collapse, there was no need to play that shot after hitting the last 2 balls for boundaries.
And Jamie Smith shouldn't have chased the ball after being beaten so many times.
Reckless bazballing ends up in engs demise yet again, they don't seem to learn.
Nonetheless, england basically played this test with 10 players and winning was gonna be harder

My opinion on Siraj has completely changed after this series, lion hearted effort from him.
2-2 is a fair result, india have been extremely competitive, 3-1 wouldn't reflect what a great series this has been.

Great series, and well played by both the teams.

But for the so-called 'best team in the world' fans to be celebrating a drawn series is just weird to say the least.

India haven't won a series in England since 2007.

India's last 13 Tests --> won 3, lost 8, drew 2.

No series win for 3 series in a row.

:inti

Quality series. Two teams with Flaws had a ding dong.

As a England fan, I fear another Thrashing in Australia. We lack bowlers who have control and no quality spinner.

Being an Indian bhai, he is more articulate than certain neighbourly bhai captains :ba in addition to obviously being more talented

Sweep_shot bro what about Siraj ? 😔

He represented India and the Ummah.😇

Like I said, if England did their job, this should've been an one-sided English victory.

They bowled out India for 224 in 1st innings. They should've batted India out of the game but that didn't happen. After that, they dropped 6-7 catches in 3rd innings. Finally, they lost after being 300/3.

So in other words Eng wasn't good enough to beat India 😔

Exactly.

Don't forget England also dropped 6-7 catches in 3rd innings.

England made it interesting with rubbish fielding and shortsighted batting. :inti
The selection of Overton and Tongue came back to bite them, there's 20 better so called bowlers who can bat in the county championship but Baz and Stokes have some sort of fetish for the Overton twins

This same English side would bazzball that 2005 side with ease on flat pitches. Like brutally destroy them

Piece by piece

So many generational talents in this team. Not even close

And that Aus of 2000 to 2006 side was vastly overrated

West Indies of 80s is the goat side

Aus side is nothing compared to them

Siraj and Jurel recreated a Coldplay concert moment. :inti

Gill probably needs a rest after this. He must be mentally drained after having to captain in a series like this immediately after becoming captain.

He probably aged by a few years in the last month, but the way he performed with the bat especially when India were 0/2 in 0.2 overs in the 4th Test was incredible. For me, he should be the Man of the Series.

He did a job as a captain and as a batsman that Rohit wouldn’t have done, so props to Gambhir as well. He gets a lot of criticism but he should also get credit for such ballsy decisions.

Those are bots or trolls. There are many other good people out there. This is purely a straw man attempt to distort reality. Siraj is respected by everyone in India barring few trolls. He is a warrior and is a great player. That’s all matters.

Can say the same about minorities in Pakistan. What’s going on there?
highly doubt it. Once he declines in form, there will me immense hate because he is muslim. Past cricketers are a great example

India won in 2021

One random test after IPL doesn’t count

-ashes series of 2005 is nothing compared to this

-this English team would bamboozle that overrated 2005 side. Decimate them.

Gambhir choosing Brook as player of the series from England is like him choosing Rashford over Messi and Ronaldo.

Brook had a good series and a great game but there were plenty of other players from England who did more.

Why are men of the series chosen by coaches? Shouldn't it be chosen by match officials? :inti

I'm busy now but will free in next half and hour , I'll take on all the troll of past 2 days.

@The Bald Eagle do you homework bro. Devadwal Strom is coming very soon for all the Indian haters ,Trolls and wannabe fans .

:kp

I think the series was exciting because of the Flaws in both teams.

Fielding was awful from bith sides.
Seamers where hot and cold

Spin from both teams was virtually non existent.

The team which made least mistakes had a chance to take it and neither could.

2-2 probably a fair result

India dropped 9 catches in test 1

And India dropped catches in test 3 when they should have chased a paltry 193

India should have been 3-1 up
England was only comfortable in 4th test of the series and that should have been won otherwise India can easily win other 4 if they fielded well.....

Lol bro, you had already surrendered against 10 men poms had it not been Bethell's bottling...anyway you are more than welcome. 👏

Low quality series....and people here saying GOAT series.....

Yet some geniuses think he is a hack :kp

Maybe if he was born in Yamuna Nagar instead of Yorkshire, they would think differently
Today I agree
Brook is different

He is like pant
Match winner.

He has more flaws than pant but if you drop his catch or fail to get him for under 30 then he will punish you big time. Serious generational talent

This english side is beatable, they drop tests to srilanka and westindies last year one sided 😂 ...I can see Pakistan drawing the series 1-1
Naah. You are mistaken.

England whitewashed WI 3-0.

SL have decent pacers who show up sometimes (SA 2019 series).

Pak have no pacers.

Last time also rain saved them. Pak ain't winning a match. Rain might save them in a few like in that Zak Crawley (lol) 267 game.

Well deserved series win, great comeback to win by taking wickets.

Winning in England, is a big achievement.

I remember shai hope scoring twins hundreds in a single match and comfortable win..maybe it was in 2021

Pakistan choked in 1st test of 2020, easily winning...in 3rd test they bowled badly but still they bat well to drew the test...

If he stayed even 3 more overs yestreday then chef kiss and shoulders will be down and no more day 5...

Lol. The 3rd test was rained off. Pakistan could have lost by an innings. They were following on. I remember that series very well. Pakistan was lucky to have 2 matches drawn due to rain.

Srilanka literally demolished England at Oval last year..I was there for last day where they chased easily and won by 8 wickets....

Well done India and Siraj

As I have said many times on PP, 2-2 is a fair result

England simply did not deserve to win the series 3-1 since imo (said it in another thread) India has been the better side over the 5 games.

India should have played a specialist spinner and the result might have been in their favour. Shoring up your batting is fine but you also need bowlers who can take 20 wickets in a test. Bits and pieces spinners (who are primarily batsmen) are fine. Probably one of the two Jadeja and Sundar (not both) and a specialist spinner like Kuldeep or someone-else should have played throughout the series

Only one day was rained...still I think azhar scored 150 odd to save the test otherwise lose and that bowling includes broad, anderson and prime woakes and archer in single match......

Any way. It’s not about Pakistan or WI right now. After the disaster of a series against NZ at home and then losing BGT, the team has come back well. We’ve played worse during transition so this was a good achievement.

Azhar was quality but you and I know how Pakistan operates. It’s an over away from a collapse. One day is enough to dismantle the rest of the side and quickly chase a small target.

The gulf between Pakistan and England was much more clear during the last home series.

It was far from Goat. People comparing it to 05 are either deluded or dont know much about cricket.

The series was exciting no doubt. That's because both teams were prone to glaring mistakes

Yes.

It is probably young Indian fans who didn't see any cricket before 2010. To them, any game after 2010 is a GOAT game. ROFL.

This series was average. Not the best I have seen. I can list 10-15 other series which were better than this. I watch cricket since 1997.

England gonna lose 5-0 in Australia...they wouldn't allow comebacks like India.......
Eng throw away matches with Reckless bazballing, just like brook threw away this match by trying to smash a third boundary in a row.

But having said that, Aus is nowhere near as strong as fans think. India lost cuz they played with walking wickets kohli, rohit along with an inexperienced bowling attack.

Australia's batting looks as weak as ever, reliant on Head and Carey.

Great series, a number of impressive individual performances across the board and some incredibly tight finishes.

Given the culture of Bazball I can see England taking positives out of nearly chasing down 373 having toiled in the field with 2.5 bowlers, but I think broader questions need to be asked like why did Stokes think bowling himself until he broke down was a good idea, or throwing Bethell into the fold with virtually no red ball cricket this season?

Siraj my player of the series - top wicket taker in a series with record-breaking runs and seemingly involved in all of the big moments!
