No. First class performance. Had a solid season. Reason he got more attention because he was dropped after a few failures following his 300 in the test against England. Gill always looks for it. But more often than not decisive. This one time he made a mistake. He didn't realize how straight he had hit the ball. Possibly thought wide of bowler. There was zero run there. He could not afford to take even one step outside the creaes. But he somehow found himself in the middle of the pitch.
