Watched the conclusion of the match when I woke up. What a professional chase by India. After Kohli got out, they didn't hit the panic button. They weren't getting that many boundaries, but getting 1s and 2s which is probably even worse for the opposition, as it doesn't allow pressure to build at all. Perfect template that other teams should watch and learn from, as opposed to just trying to smash boundaries in a tight chase, which is what some of the weaker teams tend to do.

Short of injury, Dhoni will be in World Cup. There’s nothing anyone can do about it. Indians can hope that he gets in some sort of form and starts making 30-50 runs at an average of 100 again, while he provides keeping and mentoring services. There’s nothing esktop cricketers can do to change. Dhoni may not win a match but when a collapse happens like in first OFI here, he can anchor one end. If only he had increased his scoring tempo in first match, India could have pulled a major upset after 4/3.

Just watched the highlights of the game. Did anyone see Usman's runout by Jadeja. it was one phenomenal effort and excellently judged by Kuldeep who instead of attempting to catch the ball, got out of the way.

Great that Dhoni won the game as I am massive fan of his . But honestly his time is up. I think he could win a game like this in the WC but I could also see him losing games at the WC.
Haters are gonna hate. The value of MSD cannot be simply boxed into batting and wicket keeping. Having him around provides confidence and assurance to rest of the boys ... plus his game awareness is excellent and he is a brilliant tactician. These are very crucial in the World Cup.
Now Rayudu on the other hand, does not deserve a spot even in the Indian B team.

Kuldeep's hand would have gone with the ball to hit the stumps. Never interrupt rockets from Jadeja and Maxwell.
India was in the same position in game 1 and game 2 at one stage. Three wickets down with 8 rpo needed with 120+ runs needed. Dhoni was at one end and one of the top 3 was set on the other end. Dhoni was unlucky to be dismissed in the 1st and could have launched later but that's speculation. But the criticism was warranted. That was too slow with 51 in 90+ balls. He doesn't even need to go at run a ball. As long as he stays like a rock and strikes at 70 or 80 SR, it's good enough. He can guide the other end.
