India [299/4] beat Australia [298/9] by 6 wickets in the 2nd ODI to level ODI series 1-1

Not sure what the obsession is with bowling short. Siraj and Kuldeep haven't made the Bateman drive anything yet

Jadeja you beauty! People were asking for midget Chahal in his place. This is what Jadeja brings to this team. Especially when you have brilliant fielders like Rayudu, Karthik, Khaleel and Shami around you.

Dhoni has only himself to blame for that. And Dhoni is way past it ever since last WC played in Aus, and that was 4 years back!
 
Thats why Jadeja should not be trusted as India's 2nd spinner. As a fielder, he is great. But he is a darter in chief, with hardly any trick up his sleeves when going gets tough, cue CT final.

He is contracted to Saurashtra as a pro and KKR in IPL. But is currently injured. Saurastra didnt miss him that much anyway and now they have Pujara back!
 
Maybe Siraj is just a red ball bowler but his bowling has changed squat since Nidahas. Too short and getting smashed
 
Stoinis is really one of the worst top 6 batsman. If Australia want to have any chance in the world cup they better drop him quickly. He kills all the momentum with his leaves and dead bat blocks.

Warne wanted this guy in the test Squad. Wow

Langer is not a very good coach, keeps the same squad even when Siddle was bashed all over the place, Finch & Carey not in the best of form and now instead of sending Maxwell in, sends in Stonis. Langer wants to destroy Maxwell’s career

Langer's irrational hatred of Maxwell will be his undoing, I have never seen an international coach who is so biased in his tactics and selections.
 
Shaun marsh actially looks a very good player of spin.
So refreshing to see especially from an australian as i feel there arent many quality players of spin left.

India needs a wicket though

Stoinis batting in front of Maxwell is a crime.

They can try Josh Philippe as a wicket keeper batsman, he seems to be good.
Finch is quite poor too but he will be hard to replace.
 
Another 300 target for us, hopefully top 3 fire this time around unlike last match.

Siraj and Khaleel - two 90's kind of Indian bowlers, can't watch them in place of Bumrah. No brain whatsoever :facepalm:

His reason for not picking up Wade in Test was he was batting way down the order when he was bashing everyone in Sheffield Shield :facepalm:

Aussies need To replace Langer with Moody
 
Indian crappy corrupt heads are making this Australian team look like world beaters! They are missing out the chance of total whitewashes against them which doesn't come often! Selfish corrupt heads are putting their selfish interests ahead of the country! After seeing years of domination of Australian team against us right from my childhood I thought this is the time to give them back!

When Smith & Warner returns they will most likely replace Khawaja & Handscomb. Phillipe should replace Carey but knowing Langer he won’t do such thing
 
Rohit Sharma and Kohli will chase this down, looks like a perfect batting pitch. Siddle & Lyon aren’t good odi bowlers.
 
Shaun Marsh should have been backed in ODIs more than he was in tests. He has a good record recently. Don't think that's a coincidence.
 
So it is proved yet again that Siraj is crap, doesn't belong to this level. Even Khaleel is better than him.
 
Bhuvi and Shami to bowl all the last 5 overs . Just put Ishant or Mohit Sharma in there and we have time travelled back to 2014 .
 
These two games have once again proved just how vital bumrah has been to Indias success in last few years

Not really. When Bumrah comes back, shami will bowl in the middle overs and Bumrah can handle the death. If anyone if the three get injured , then it could be disastrous cometh the world cup.

As of now everybody except Bumrah is getting tonoed at the death. BK isn't good at death anymore . Shami is not a death bowler
 
This is already way out of India's reach. Dhawan will be eaten up by Behrendorf Rohit and Kohli won't do it alone .
 
India with and without Bumrah are two different teams. They depend to much on him it seems.
 
Hope this will again shut up those who think Siraj is unlucky not to be donning India colors more often.

Pandya was giving the much needed balance to the team! He simply should have not been wasted in test format (somebody like Bhuvaneshwar should have been tried as alrounder for tests!) Pandya was doing much better than these Sirajs & Khaleels... And his batting was an advantage to India (So we could have played extra batsman) His fielding was brilliant! But he was unnecessarily scrutinized & some fools mocked him by comparing to Sobers & expected lot of things from him! Even J.Kallis was an ordinary player when he started, but he was groomed slowly!

Let me tell that I accept we cannot/may not produce a player like Sobers or Kallis, but at the same time most countries couldn't produce players like Sachin or Kohli (or far that matter a special player like Rohit who can hit 3 monster centuries! An open challenge if anybody can hit like that even after offering 100 such so-called flat pitches!)

Should have played in tests! Wrong selection! U.Yadav is relatively better in ODIs as he can at least pick some magic wickets which is vital in LOIs... Indian fast bowling issues are slowly going to settle down after WC perhaps, Bumrah will definitely get support bowlers in future (as he got in Tests!) Just that the corrupted minds should get cleared in our LOI management!

Umesh is crap, whichever format it is.

As for Siraj, he has proved to be mental midget whichever format he has played till now. Don't think it'll be any different in tests as well.
 
BK gets another one, sealed his spot for another 2 years.
 
There goes 300 out of the window. But still enough for our pathetic middle order.
 
Aus has already scored at least 80 more than they required.
