India [314/9] defeat Bangladesh [286] by 28 runs to end Bdesh hopes of qualifying for semi-finals

Sad to see some Ind fans making fun of BD fans in stadium after the wicket. You can enjoy your team's success but whats the point of showing gestures to the opposition fans.

I think so sub continental team's fans should be given separate stands Pak vs Afghan was also a poor display by fans (Mostly Afghans)
 
Shakib is playing too many cuts close to the body. He is going to inside edge one to the stumps

I never said anything about being a better team though. But to talk about throwing matches against teams that you haven't beaten even when you have tried is just :))) . I think BD Vs Pakistan will be a hard fought match FWIW.

But have no sympathy for the Bangla fans - remember Naagin dance? They were very irritating against Pakistan too

Whats a rivelery ,fans always laugh on each others faces,thats what makes it a good competition..

What happened in pak vafg wasnt about cricket plz dont make useless comparisions
 
People hype up these upcoming or reformed Bangladesh players, and some of them are pretty good, sometimes as the "new best Bangladesh player". But when push comes to shove, it's always Shakib that steps up from Bangladesh. Incredible Player, best allrounder I've seen play.
 
We have only ourselves to blame for the position we r currently in.

Umpiring has been decent so far in this match.
 
Shakib is the second greatest allrounder from Asia, just behind Imran.

What a player.
 
RRR getting to dangerous territory. Need a big over soon to bring it down to 7.

I guess we all do certain things in the heat of the moment and that adrenaline rush. While nagin dance was no way classy but I would give them benefit of doubt that they might have been too much in the moment.
 
Liton is a sweet timer of the ball. Ball is making a good sound out of his bat.

Stokes wouldn't get into his team as a bowler. Shakib would get in as either. There's a huge gap between bowling for Stokes and Shakib, yet not much with the bat.

I've also rarely seen a player who has to carry a team on his back like Shakib. While he doesn't need to do it as much as before in the days where Bangladesh didn't really have a single good player but Shakib, you do see him stepping up a lot and shouldering responsibility in pressure situations better than his teammates.

feel so sad when our guys do this....as an indian i've seen some cringe worthy displays by our crowd....jeez...only a game....sometimes i think our arrogance is magnified because of our sheer numbers....but yeah....not required at alll

Stokes would get into a lot of teams as a bowler. Bowling 145 is no joke. Eng has a lot of pacers so he's underused

India missing run out chances and letting 4s. Need to tighten up. DK has this bad habbit of getting sideon when he's fielding. He needs to be behind the ball

Shakib must be the best all rounder I have ever seen play. Its easier to play when your team has really good players but it must be really hard to take Shakib's place for anyone in Bangladesh.

Kohli gets too excited and overreacts to every appeal lmao.

But I'll take your word that he has had some good performances in SENA countries.

Do u know he is one of the best spinners as far as bowling in sena is concerned.

He has better record in sena than many front line spinners like Kimble, Harbhajan, saqi.

Only murali is somewhat closer to him in this department.

As I said, he's a beast of an allrounder. Easily the second greatest.
 
Indian XI had 3 wicket keepers today. If anyone can think logically they will realise how bad team policy has been in last 3-4 years.

In a country like India where we have abundance of batting talent we had to play 3 wicket keepers today because we didn't groom batsmen.

Kartick only played because he has been backup keeper to dhoni for ever and he got a game after his replacement Pant. So question arises why wasn't pant groomed in last 2 years?

Will any selector answer?

I didn't knew that but if he has a stellar test career and with this beastly world cup he has just had I would say he can even surpass IK in next 3-4 years. Depends on how big next 3-4 years are.
