Even in domestic matches he is just a part timer ,bowls 4-5 overs for India A side
He has played a total 60 list A matches and bowled just 279 overs that's 4.65 overs per match
Hardly bowls in IPL,has bowled just 6 overs in 18 matches

Hopefully Yadav and Chalal play all the games, only way to improve against them is to face them and see their variations.

Now India will give some soft runs to Grandhomme, Nicholls and Bracewell so that New Zealand take them to the world cup. No way they are gonna be in the semis with just Williamson and Taylor. :afridi

Problem is not with picking these bowlers and their variations. It's shot selection.
 
This is not scoreboard pressure or anything. This was a result of being unable to survive. They just resorted to desperate shots without being able to pick the variations.

Why does India's middle order matter to NZ? It's not like NZ are going to make the semis or the final anyway.
 
This is going the way of the SA series. By the time they realize d and came out of the shock, India already won the series. There haven't been many teams that bamboozled the opponents with their bowling on flat wickets in the recent past

dhoni, jadhav and pandya are certain, grandpa we have to live with the other 2 would be my first choice picks for 6 and 7, rayudu has got a long way to go. Kohli leaving especially if we win the 3rd game too will mean gill gets picked. It will take 1-2 bad games at most for rayudu to be dropped, he is there because the chief selector wants him not because team wants him.

Christ, I didn't know things were so bad for NZ cricket that you had to hope for other teams to defeat India.

I like this NZ team so I hope they do get better.
 
Kiwis no match for India. Kohli should be rested for the next match as well, alongwith the last two. Shubman Gill should play the next 3 games. Not much time after this series to experiment & get the middle order sorted.
 
Second time in as many matches kuldeep comes to bowl after 4 or 5 down and ends up with 3-4 wickets

After convincing himself that the previous match was a fluke and NZ will Trash India, this must be a shock.

Because we have the bowlers the other team doesn't. This was a 350 pitch, we just didn't try, Imagine leaving and defending balls in the 42nd over with 7 wickets in hand.

I am sure it will be a cracker of a game this time in world cup between india and pak. I am hoping pak would win though. Its a long time now for any streak to last.

Kuldeep Yadav is one of the great ODI spinners in the making. Magnificent bowler.
 
India showing the Kiwis how its done. Purely playing on a different level. Keep in mind this team will get more strong with Pandya and Bhumrah back. Surely no one is catching them on current form. They have a very good core with players being rotated and rested. Hats off to their management and selection policy.
Picking players for specific formats and no senior culture thriving is giving them great success. Wow they are just too good cant see any one close for next 10 years given their young bench strength and they keep on coming with more and more. Gill, Pant, Shaw are not even in the frame and all 3 have stars written on them.
