What's new

India [326 & 70/2] beat Australia [195 & 200] by 8 wickets to win 2nd Test [1-1]

Well done bowlers. Can we score these 70 runs without losing a wicket?

Indians have really bowled well despite not having first-choice attack. Aus is yet to cross 200 in 4 innings so far.

All the talk about Aus missing two batsmen in the last series is fine, but here India is bowling well despite not having Ishant & Shami.

This. Well said. We too have missed many first choice players.

Despite that Australia is yet to cross 200 in the first 2 tests and that too at home. When was the last time it happened?

And having umesh jnjjred this innings after bowling 4 overs

I'm nervous after Adelaide test . Batsman Pls don't break our heart again . Great character shown by bowlers even without Ishant ,Shami & Now Umesh .

This innings is very important for Mayank. Needs to stay unbeaten anyhow.

well done australia....they gave India very tough fight even without warner in the team

History made in MCG by Indian bowlers - After 32 long years, Australia don't have a fifty in a Test match.

This series is on fire now...next two matches are going to be so thrilling

Gill may see some hiccups like Pant has seen in the next couple of years but he will be the next Dravid with way more aggression.

Agarwal needs to sort out his footwork and especially that high backlift to be able to bat better next time. He is a quality player to miss out.

Mayank, why Chase outside off stump ball? nevertheless He is going to dropped which seem unfair to him,but I'm not sure about Rohit Either .

Unfortunately for Mayank playing too close to the body and foot movement issues.. although most probably Vihari will be replaced..

India team surprised me big time by bouncing back this way. If they play well in the next test, it's really going to test Aus. Warner may be back in the next test. Aus needs some one to attack.

Aussies need to get one of these out quickly as they'll both score freely and a paltry 70 will dwindle down to nothing in no time .

Sadly for Mayank, his horrible run is being made worse by the relative comfort of Gill at the other end.

Get Rohit and Rahul in place of Mayank and Vihari, we have a shot at Sydney to get the series our way

Why? He has looked like a million bucks opening the innings in this Test so far. I'd have him opening the innings instead of Aggarwal.

He is too good player .im not doubting his ability but he is new so why take chance with new ball .

In all formats. Don't think there is any player in the domestic that can fill that spot better than Gill. Jaiswal/Shaw can open the inning. :inti

True but needs to get a better power game or ability to find gaps like Kohli..he is showing a lot of confidence against top Aussie attack in Aus, good to see that.

Rahane has been lucky in this innings..needs to get his act together for next test.

Finished earlier than expected, positive intent from Gill has helped.. Rahane needs to watch out, should play his natural game.
