But even if our batsman put the runs on the board, those bowlers who can bat, will lose us the match, nearly like today.

You have a point on lower order batting. But the option we have is bowlers who can bat are not that good, and the bowlers who bowl well can’t bat. I would rather go for the latter leaving the job of scoring runs to the best 7 batsmen and the job of bowling to the best 5 bowlers. Half way house players like Thakur won’t do much with the bat or the ball.

Pandya shouldn't be part of XI. He is poor in ODIs for a while. Even in T20s, he hardly ever plays a great innings.
