A scan was done and confirmed the muscle injury.

Sri Lanka Cricket Selectors have brought in Sahan Arachchige into the squad in place of Theekshana.

Sri Lanka is a dark horse in such a tournament. In Asia cup, they have reached the final more times then mighty India and Pakistan so we cannot rule them out.

Injuries can happen at any time. If it is in his taqdeer, then it will happen whether he plays now or in the first over of first match of WC.

We should trust Indian team management and NCA who know best about his workloads and issues.

With 4 ODIs left to go before WC, from pace bowling India will look to give Bumrah, Shami and Siraj atleast 3 games each.

The likes of Hardik, Kohli, Rohit will be rotated from XI so that Iyer, KLR and Kishan all get ample game time.

Sundar/Axar and Thakur will all get atleast 3 opportunities over next 4 games as well. Kuldeep and Jadeja can rotate out if needed

Good low diving catch by KL...must say his wkeeping is good atleast to pacemen.
Where he struggles is against guys like kuldeep or standing up to Akshar/ other spinners.
However, must praise him in the sense he played , scored 100 and kept for 2 consec days and also scored in last super 4 match vs SL. A tribute to his fitness and determination.
Hope for best today and he does not go into his inconsistent mode.
