That made me laugh. It's a dull day Stockholm.
The match might be over by today.

random aussie, still celebrating mate?

Still laughing but I am not celebrating. Why would you think I was celebrating? Gotta laugh at this performance though.

This OZ team is becomin like the Kiwis. Their last 5 can be relied upon to score more than the top 5 :P

wow Australia are crap. I actually thought they would win comfortable in India. They wouldnt last 3 days against us (assuming they survive the trip).

Um yeah OK.

Which Pakistan team? The mythical one with gun bowlers or the one that actually plays?

All hail Ricky Ponting, the man who is supposed to be in the same class as SRT :D...

:))) :))) :)))

Hailing Sir Punter from the heart... I think he will still leave India with an average of 20 odd.

The one that plays. Obviously the strength of the team is assumed to be full.

If by full strength you mean a fit Shoaib, non drugged Asif and no back problems for Gul and Pakistan wickets then that team would probably beat us. Not in 3 days though.

No the one with bowlers who can provide upto 4 overs service in a day.

HOLY GOD, I am just seeing the replays Sharma getting scary bounce on this pan cake, Clarke really looking like a 'pup' out there lucky to be there... ICC please ban this venue and that too ASAPPPP!!!!..

I never expect Australia to do so badly. The batters really have played poorly on this pitch. The Aussie bowlers in particular Lee has let Australia down big time. The first really poor performance by Australia after a long time.

Every team plays best and are liekly to win more when they are npot playing!

Haha Dhoni's halarious, did anyone hear what he said to Harbhajan regarding the substiture fielder 'Badrinath'. While Bhajji was bowling?

South Africa wouldn't have submitted so meekly.

No they would never have dragged the match into a fifth day and wasted everyone's time.

They're a far more thoughtful bunch.

I think Cricket Australia might be on the phone now with McGrath and Warney.

hahahah

heck Gillispie and Kasprowicz would have bowled better than these jokers yesterday

Who would imagine Australia getting destroyed like this. Only hope is if Clarke/Haddin can pull off an Akmal/Razzaq

Yeh u know thats great sense of humour. He is such a brilliant example to make every player comfortable by cracking jokes etc... Never saw that from Kumble or Dravid's captaincy. Don't think I have ever seen Kumble smile.

agreed. not everyone can say what he did just now and make it sound funny, if Kumble had tried it, it would have sounded like a doctor making a grim prognosis

man, i sure hope they keep kumble far far away from the team now. :)

SRT average 54

RP average 58.9

Enjoy....

Oh dont get me wrong Mate, I was just making a cheeky statement, SRT is not good enough to wipe Harbhajan's and Sharma to be bunny Ponting's shoes :D>..

Got a feeling Clarke or Haddin may repeat the heroics of our beloved Fasil Iqbal. Anyone remember that memorable knock against India by him last time around? Especially when he raised his bat towards the crowd after getting out? That was a a legendary moment.

Never underestimate India's power to bring defeat/draw from the Jaws of victory with ofcourse a little help from Rudi...

Well yeah 3 of those bowlers were world class. None of the current batch are currently world class.

What's the weather forecast look like? :D

Plus the drainage system is worst than the pitches in Windies here, so no chance of gettin the pitch dried up either. Lucky Aussies.

Anyway these two both looking good for double-tons tomorrow so should be a fairly smooth victory for Aus. India will just have to settle for a moral victory.

Nice to see some Aussie posters here when the going is tough. If India were 135-5 chasing 500-odd there wouldn't be a single Indian poster here...except for bublubhuyan who's class and romali who can take a bit of lip.

He might be here, but he's hardly gracious in impending defeat - in fact, he's just taking cheap shots at PAKISTAN bowlers!

This is the difference between Oz sides, Pak side in comparison to India had Oz/Pak been in this position they would have cleaned us up by now..Thoughts of Razzaq/Akmal partnership starting to linger my mind however I wouldnt be surprised if OZ does pull off the draw....

What Aussie supporters? I'm a proud South African supporter mate. Never been anything else.

Nonsense, Aus will get rolled within an hour either side of lunch. The irony is, is that if our top order actually applied themselves we could have realistically drawed this game.

After, this rock solid pair, we have brett-the batsman to take care of.
anws we fear brett the bastman more then brett the bowler.

Draw is on the cards or may be Aussie win as well. 350 something is not impossible to get for this kind of line-up.

The only thing that can save Australia from here is some hard-core rain tomorrow. Otherwise they won't even last till valima.

God, when we will have a QUICK bowler a la Waqar or Dale, who can blast the tailenders out.

No offense to Waqar.

Ahh, so thats what the Saudi Arabian flag is for.

It all makes sense now.

What the hell?

On the same pitch which Australia makes a minefield somewhere in the Iraqi desert, India breeze to 300 odd with everyone scoring runs at a high strike-rate.

Err Australia... they're not that good

Australia royally fuc*** here sums up the match. I am sure no member of this Australian team can dare look into the eye of the Indians for a while now. The have literally been schooled here.

yeah i guess the reactions here are over the top.
and we haven't even won the match.
there's only one way to accept glory-humbly and only one way to accept defeat-gracefully.

I can safely say Pakistan gave more to the Indians than the Australians have so far. This is downright embarrassing

Well played India though. Handing out such a thrashing to the mighty Aussies is simply amazing

The match is not over yet. The most likely result is an Indian victory, but if Australia bat well, they can draw.

Oh Ok. back to humble.

It was a good game. Australians put up a good fight. They bowled well in spells and while batting, put some pressure on us in the second innings. But in the end its a game. one team has to lose. I think the injury to Lee and s Clarke did hamper their chances as well. However, they are a top side and I am sure they will back strongly in the next match :Angel_ani :)

Naah, even the Australians wont like this version. Its a sport. People want some a55 kicking and not butt licking.

I hope India learns a HUGE lesson from thsi win, that is to bat FAST and aggressively. No way they would have been in this position had they not done this check it out playas:

1st Innings:
35 off 36 (Viru) 97 SR
39 off 70 (Dravid) Dravid batting at 55 SR Is amazing and noteworthy!
88 off 111 (Tend) 80 SR!
92 off 124 (Dhoni) 74 SR

2nd Innings:

104 off 138 (75 SR)
90 off 122 (74)
68 off 84 (80 SR)

This is very uncharacteristic of India's batting to bat with such aggressiveness and pace. I guess what helps is that both Ind openers at the top are aggressive batsman and Dhoni captain is also aggressive!

good stuff from India.

I could not really believe what I was seeing, India making mince meat of the Aussie bowlers and then running riot through the Aussie line up!

should be finished before lunch...all we need is one breakthrough and then rest will follow.....

Clarke and Haddin have to do a Razzaq and Akmal Mohali special to save the game here!

Yeah but the key is to break this partnership early..only then can we be really confident.ATM Aus have an outside chance to salvage a draw.

India have been better than Australia in all departments of the game. Australias ,main downfall with bat and balk has been lack of application and carelessness!

LMAO!

I don't think they can bat through the whole day. This is going to be a big loss. They'll have to take their licks, regroup and try again in the next Test.
