And the END of the little partnership.

Aus 193 ALL out, mostly due to the superb bowling of Murali Kartik.

Highlight of the innings:
33 extras :O
Well played 60 by Ponting :14:
6 wickets by Kartik :14:

There it is !!

Australia all out for 193 RP Singh getting Bracken on 3

its been a while since i seen our total that low.

i just have this feeling australia may win it still. LOL

india ripped aussies apart today.. well played by kartik!! india should win this easily

keeping the wickets in hand will be the key for india.. after 10 overs a score card of like 25/0 will be more important than a 60/3

seeing the game so far I get a feeling that in this track Dravid would have been more handy than Dinesh!!

wicket is not easy to bat on, the Indian fans should hope that the 33 scored by the batsman 'Extras' doesn't come back to hit them on their heads!

I get the feeling it´s a slow-track and even Dinesh Karthik plays well on this type of wickets. Let´s what he does today........

Ok...here we go...

Want some magic now from Brett lee...but the second ball is a WIDE

Edged and Ganguly gone for...

2-1 after 1.4 overs

Consecutive wides by Johnson...so 5 wides for Aus and we are still in the 3rd over.

Karthik gone...edged. Johnson's second wicket...what a start

And how many runs did he score, you guessed it:

India 8-2 after 3.4 overs

i think australia still might win this.

johnson is a good find for australia but too early to throw him in the test team

Ind 27-2 after 7 overs
Tendulkar on 14 and Yuvraj 6

Lee strikes. Tendulkar out bowled. inside edge to stumps
Ind 38-3 after 10.2

if aus can get 1 more wicket before they get to 75 runs, i got a feeling we really have a big chance

This partnership is very important for both teams. Since these two will accelerate run rate, if Aussies can nail one of them soon then they could control the game.

India doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory here - I'd have thought this was their best chance to put some hurt on us before the series in OZ.

Indian are very superstitious, even though their bowlers did better than batsmen in last 10-20 games, but they always beleive they could only win if they bat first. So as soon as they lose toss, they conclude they lost the game.

So anything in term of decent score is considered as a bonus, so I dont think they are even looking to win after losing the toss.

If India lost an other wicket then you will be on your own in this thread; since cricket loving Indian fans stop following it if they lose,

Dhoni out ct behind off Bracken
Ind 63-5 after 17.5 overs
Gilchrist who got his 450th ODI dissmisal with first wicket this match got his 400th catch in ODIs with this wicket

CONGRATULATIONS to all Indian for hard fought series. You proved to the world that it was a series between two WORLD CHAMPIONS, not between WORLD CHAMPION and a Fluke.

Pathan out ct at 2nd slip off Hopes
Ind 64-6 after 18.5 overs - need 130 to win

64-6, India once again proving the fact the we all know by know- 'Subcontinent teams lose the match the moment the ball even thinks about moving!' Pathetic stuff from subcontinent teams!

Nice tone super sports fan. Why don't you cheer the good game of Aussies, instead of cursing. I will also advise you if you have access to live match on TV then check out how Indians are cheering the sports of cricket.

Question to all the Indians fans on this forum: Why did the curator make a pitch which would assist the swing bowlers so much knowing that subcontinent teams can't play on such wickets? What ever happend to home advantage?

I think in desperation, instead of preparing a supporting wicket for good ODI match, Indian prepared a graveyard that suited for Kartic but Aussies seamers have different thoughts for them.

India collapsing against some brilliant bowling... :P

India facing an up hill task but ...choo choo... here comes the Aussie train...

Considering the number of wides Indian bowled, I guess conditions were good for swing. Can anyone watching this live since start confirm whether conditions are same as they were when Indians bowl?

I think Indian sets their own standards, and whatever Aussies score, they substract 100 from it and set that score as target for theirselve.

I didn't see the first innings so can't tell

Harbhajan with a big six off Bracken :105:
come on India take it to 140 without losing anymore wickets

You got it right once again; one Indian bowled wides and that is why couldnt restrict Aussies to under 100, second, India lost toss, so it was easy to bat first and in second innings under lights it was going to be hard to chase anything in access of 100. May be Aleem Dar give 1-2 decisions in favor of Australian batsmen and then he got few wrong in giving Indian bowled out or catch out. Also we could add to the list that Dravid absence is also a bad luck for India.

Bad luck highly talented and experienced Indian side.

Makes RESTING(!) Dravid such a silly move, at least he would take the game to 50 ovs and still not win the game for India

Ya atleast that would have proved slow poisoning of Indian fans and good for most of the businesses in term of keep more people on forums, watching TV and thus advertisements.

I am even surprise Australia didn't one first game because of rain and how Australia let them win by 7 runs in one match. May be that was a business decision to keep Indian supporters involved in the series.

Uthappa walks down the pitch and hits a six over long off
Ind 88-6 after 24 overs

Why are Indian crowds chanting "batista" & "Cena"? (Ind vs Aus)

What's with the crowd? It's suppose to be about cricket , and they're just chanting some random stuff such as wrestler's name batista , Cena and "OOOGA" ?

Anyone noticed it?

Err...why the heck is Hogg bowling. Hopes and Johnson both have 5 overs left, plus Ponting can get Symonds to bowl seam-up too

Err...why the heck is Hogg bowling. Hopes and Johnson both have 5 overs left
Hopes went off the field couple of overs ago. pulled a muscle or a cramp while chasing a ball

Perhaps they just want to forget that they've lost the series and it isn't real Cricket and consider it as a drama, non real stuff just like WWE :D

Bad luck for Aleem Dar.... lets see if Indian can find something wrong with this decision.
