I think the wickets in India are a lot worse (bowling wise) and better (batting wise) than in Sri Lanka and Bagladesh.

Playing in India greatly helps India because batting has always been their strength.

I don't see England getting this total. They should hit 300-315 but I can't see them win this one with India's spin attack.

Trott only has second gear

It's funny to see someone who comes in again and again and plays exactly the same way. He's not going change his strike rate or maybe go after the ball a bit more if the total is higher (or defend a bit if the total is a bit lower). He has a natural rhythm and sticks with it.

But I don't think it's a bad thing necessarily, as he makes big scores with remarkable consistency. Always good to have someone like that in your team.

I'm not pinning much of my hopes on Trott really. It'll be Pietersen and maybe Strauss who will have to do the damage today. One early wicket and England's chances drop dramatically.
