Explain to me then how India were able to win in the West Indies, draw in South Africa, etc.

That is past i am talking about recent achievements...they do not have the same batting line up now..were thrashed in England...
And performance in this match against a poor test side at home is also not a healthy sign for them

If we win, you say this.. If we lose, you say something else..
Not a healthy sign??what are you on mate?

Kiwis had a chance to close out this game when the 5th wicket fell, But just like in 1st inns they have allowed Indian back into it when having them on the ropes. If they lose the game they only have themselves to blame.

India in india are absolute behemoths. Even if you take 1st innings lead, they come into the game and simply take it away from you.

Good effort ffrom us. But I want wins. I hope we start winning soon.

Looks like India are home. Good fighting effort from the Hobbits, missing Dan and the Fatman.

Disagree. Vettori the bowler has been one of the things holding us back from coming close to winning anything, so bloody defensive and unthreatening, he's past it in tests. Vettori the batsman has been pretty out of form. Ryder's just been in lousy nick for a while, needs to prove himself in domestic for a decent stretch before he comes back into the scene.

Masterclass from Kohli to just hang in there. If he departed right after Raina, it would of been an entirely different game out there, with us clearly in front. 39(76) at the moment, deserves a fifty. Only 21 runs to play with but, and Dhonut has smacked a boundary.

Kohli lives up to his reputation as the new backbone of Indian Batting in all forms of the game. Very well played so far.

Newzealand are too poor a side to make a match of it ..that too in India ..where mighty sides have failed to win

So what wrong has India done here?! We are anyway expected to win right? What was Pakistan's last result against the Blackcaps? Whitewash eh?

Off-topic, but how often do sides tour Pakistan (UAE) for test matches? I know England had the whitewash tour earlier this year, but what about us, SA, Aus, WI? Is it listed in the FTP?

Called it! :)

Ryder is clearly your best batsman. I don't think your side is strong enough to leave him out. If you back him he will score runs.

Superb win. Thanks Kohli n MSD for the all important 6th wicket partnership. congrats Team India and fellow Indian fans.

Commiserations to NZ team and its fans. A very spirited effort from the Kiwis.

SA toured n drew the series 0-0.dunno about others

Good game, good effort from NZ, and impressive batting from kohli!

Good fightback by the Kiwis but like I said to Marshland earlier, you underestimate MSD at your own peril. Man seems to be developing a knack for finishing matches with big sixes.

We won it but not without a scare ... Some spirited performance by Taylor and Southee.... What a match.... Well done everyone :36:

superb win for India...brilliant stuff from Kohli...India has discovered their future captain and superstar

Well done to NZ...fought very hard

Congrats india and their fans , rock stars at home indeed :113:

Commiserations NZ. Better luck next time Marshland and co..

Pretty good series to watch IMO. Neither batting nor bowling was too dominant and both pitches had something on all of the days. Very unlike normal indian tracks.

Biggest positive for us: Pujara and Kohli confirm their suitability, atleast in India

Biggest learnings for us:
Raina looks like a duck (yes pun intended) out of water even if he manages to score a few at the test level.
Sehwag NEEDS to be removed from opening slot in tests.
Who is coaching Yadav. I have never seen such an evidently useless spell as he was dishing out multiple times during the series.
Zaheer & Tendulkar need to rethink either their hairstyle or their careers.

This whitwash was very expected btw; needed for the team & fans to regain their trust on this ex-#1 test side. Hopefully India will keep up their show with these spin magicians.

I thought both the teams were pretty even in the second test, no shame in accepting that Kiwis played well! I don't care if people say we were average or below average,.. I'm happy that I watched good competitive test cricket

Played 2 Test series at home and Man of the series in both the series for Ashwin. Great effort Lad! :) looking forward to yet another superb performance in upcoming Englad series. #DoubleThumbsUp

2-0 win for India was expected. Kiwis did scrap more in this 2nd game but in both inns when they had India 5 wickets down they did finish the job.
