We all know about Indians and their obsession with averages, stats, records etc so it's tremendous that Sehwag couldn't get his 300.

Shame this series has been so ridiculously one sided....they have had all the luck and the pitches have been atrocious......could we do a rain dance tonight?

Would have liked to wrap it up today itself. Anyway, the pressure is on Sri Lanka, and we are more than likely to win this Test. The next Test series we'll play is against Bangladesh, and we are likely to white wash them (hopefully). So the #1 spot will be ours at least till the Test series against S.A on March next year.

Certainly not. Australia is at the 4th spot. Even if you white wash South Africa (who are the #1 currently), you'll still take a lot of time to reach #1.

Even teams like S.A and India with their batting line ups will find it difficult to defeat Australia with the team they have prepared lately. The bad phase of Australia was a result of their rebuilding phase, and now it's more or less over. Mark my words, they'll soon be taking over the throne (although I don't want that to happen )

aamer bowls well but doesnt pick wickets that fast ... asif is the only star you have . rest are decent

so you have yousuf and untested u akmal (who in a worrying trend is playing tests like odis and t20s and slogging far too often)

k akmal is hit and miss and the rest are so poor that probably ponting will outscore them all

aussie bowling with bollinger , hilfy , hauritz, siddle ,mj is also decent..yes they dont have a gun like asif but man to man their bowling is almost 80% of pak

of course their fielding is lightyears better

Huh ? with all due respects we are setting up for a 2-0 defeat against the Lankans which seems to be a more result oriented series than the last time Lankans were at Pakistan ?.. Oh yeah about that little 'one sided' note its not our fault Lankans cant take on our team at our house....First time I have seen someone blame a team for kicking the crap out of another side, poor Sri Lankans damn the Indians for kicking their butt lol

The bowling can deliver and rescue us only so many times.
The batting has to perform, not only perform but deliver 100+ runs for the 1st wicket in 3/6 total innings of a 3 test match series otherwise the rest will disintegrate especially without Younus.

I think they will and we will win 1-0 or draw 1-1.
