This is a strange game. SA look comfortable but a wicket will change all that. An experienced player like Kallis is really missed here

SA scoring over 8 an over and without taking any risks.

If India do not get 2 more wickets in the next 10 overs, its over for India.

Pitch is flat, but it will be atrocious to not defend 330.

Robi just went past his highest of 44 and looking good to score his first 50 in ODI's

Head 2 Head in ODI's: India 24 S Africa 40

ABD seems to be in total control...its looking like a walk in the park.

The spinners arent causing any trouble...Maybe thatll change as the bad gets older...The double ball change rule apparently doesnt suit teams with a spinner based attack.

AB has to score big today! Bringing Petersen was also a great move!

LOL

Letting Ribin Peterson score 45 runs in only 38 balls.

Only our pathetic bowlers can do that.

Get back to me at the end of the game.

It will be, by then.
That doesn't make much sense, the guy is striking at a great SR and put 45 on the board.

He's already outperformed the average (and SR)of most very good ODI batsmen.

He's already been a success really. Turned out to be a good move. Can't see how it can suddenly be a bad move end of game.

Ab should hold one end with rest playing around him

Long batting line ups are the way forward. So hard to dismiss them for under 50 overs and stop them scoring freely (as they know plenty of batting to come). Which is why AB keeps, so they can have proper batsmen 1-7.

Think we missed a trick and should have made umar keep, bringing in another batsman. Umar's good enough to get into the team alone, just like AB, but would have made our batting line up longer and thus stronger.

I am loving their running between wickets for singles more thn the boundaries.

Spinners still looking better than the Indian pacers.

Think spinners will be crucial here to stop the onflood of scoring. Even going at a economy of 6/5.5 is an improvement on the 8 that pacers are going for. And in this case, that's below the req run rate.

Who do we play next? Pakistan, or the West Indies?

People will find it as a conspiracy against india now...You know they will think Pakistan turned Robi into a solid bat after that 80 runs in Test

330+ and Indian still looking unsecured

Dont be so sure...332 is mammoth..still a long way to go.a couple of wickets and India are back on top.

And Peterson doesnt look so assured against Ashwin.

Here comes the first 50 of Sir Robi in his ODI career of 69 matches and guess what it's against the mighty indian bowling attack :p

Wahaaaa whats wrong with indian fielding today? i thought only sa fielding was bad but seems like indians are doing same so is it a bad day for fielding or what?

204 needed in 190 balls with 8 wickets in hand...seems the hard work of dhawan on stake

Well they have pegged things back a little..The RR is down to 7 flat.

and i have a feeling Ashwin will get Peterson in a couple of overs

SA should be able to chase it down. 8 wickets in hand and asking rate is around 6.

SA need to play out Ashwin...i think they can afford that

If india lose this match even after scoring 331 i am afraid but the semi final door seems to be closing to them...

SA historically has struggled against spinners.

6 overs for 26 runs so far suggest its not been easy given the RR of close to 7

on the contrary SA "historicaly" have done pretty well against spinners they even have a better record in Asia than Australia

LOL @ Shane Warne giving lessons on the spirit of the game.

Dhoni will use his part timers in a few overs and SA should take advantage of that...

Ah, they had bad bowling starts in WC as well. SA plays well initially so I will back them to chase it down here. Problem comes during crucial games for SA.

Good job containing the run-rate but a wicket wouldn't hurt at this stage either.

It's only a matter of time until the choking begins... it's inevitable... something has got to give

This holding the ball before delivery is ridiculous at times. Why even have a bowling action?

depends on how you define the term "historically"

The recent Aussie time is quite rubbish in general.

Indian spinners have pulled things back ......... AB has to bat through for SA here.

Who is going to be the scapegoat for india if Robi somehow score a 100 here and india lose the match with his match winning knock :p his innings going to be remembered for a long time...Somebody gonna post it in the thread: Best ODI Innings Ever?
